What happens to those pets on the account are the names of the pets automatically freed up or what? I am asking for a friend by the way

The names of pets on frozen accounts are cleared after a year. The clearing is manual though, so sometimes it can take several more months for the staff to get around to clearing a pet name

Nope. If she's the one disabling the account and someone else wants those names, she could try and have that user adopt them from the Adopt-R-Us in Veta Lake if she were to abandon them there, but otherwise there's no way to have the names cleared any faster.

Done quicker? What would be the point, if you want to let someone else take the name, put them UFA. I'm somehow getting the idea they want to make an (new) account. Or since she can't post, she's self-frozen? Asking probably wouldn't work. So there's not a quicker way for them to be freed unfortunately. As said before, it takes around a year.

Common coloured pets are less of a target, but if they have amazing names then they're probably just as desirable and just as much at risk of being swiped as any expensively-coloured pet.
