So, since overlay requests are in the graphic selling area, I figured critique on one could be put in the graphic discussion section. If not, forgive me, I'm new-ish to the forums.

Anyway, that aside, I wanted some opinions on the overlay I'm working on, it's a tad bigger than it will be when I apply it, and uncolored, but I wanted to see what people thought. It's for my new Legeica twins. (I only wanted one but somehow I got two -shrug-)

The original art has them looking sort of like a Kirin (For anyone who may not know what I'm talking about, a Kirin is a mythical beast in Japanese (correct me if I'm wrong) legends that's a dragon that looks more like a horse than a real dragon in most cases. It flys and has something to do with lightning bolts.) So I decided to go more towards that effect without making the entire pet scaled, since it isn't. Thoughts?

I thought Kirin was a fire elemental... But I'm probably wrong.

It looks great! the lineart is beautiful on it's own. I bet it'll be awesome colored.

I like it reminds me of Ixion of FFX and FFX-2 which was probably made after that creature too.

I honestly have no idea. I only knew lightning from the game Monster Hunter that has a form of the Kirin and that it's drawn in clouds a lot. Maybe I'm wrong though. I'll have to look that up.

But thank you, hopefully it'll be presentable with color, I'm not one to cell shade like original Subeta art.

Since this is a complete redraw of the pet, and not just a color-change (which would be more of a graphical thing), I'm going to move this to Art Discussion. :)
