sorry for my bad english!

so, a while ago in the news, i read that now we can choose the item we want if we buy a donation present / collection (?) (when did the name change? oh well...) and they are no longer random. and i was wondering... if i buy an older one (2008), can i choose what item i want or it will give me a random item like it used to? thanks in advance (:

The Collections are different from the Donation Presents. Since January 09 DPs are called Collections. Old DPs are still DPs and there's the difference:

You CAN choose which item you want from the Collections. But you will stil get a RANDOM item from the Donation Presents when opening them.
