I was wondering if it was the Pet Zapper or the V2 version or both of them that did this to your items. I have left both my Lizard Minion trap and spray out accidentally while I was using the Pet Zapper and was wondering if it was safe to do so.

The Fairground pet zapper is safe; the V2 pet zapper isn't - it can hit the pet's minion or anything in your inventory.

I've heard rumours that it can affect a pet's treasure items as well, but I've found no one this has actually happened to, other than increasing the number of treasure slots, so I believe the treasure items are safe.

V2 often destroys items and minions. I always put my trap and spray in my vault when I use it.

I just quickstock EVERYTHING to my shop except the tokens to pay for it, and take it right out again after.

I wouldn't say it destroys the minions. It can turn a minion into different types of slime, but they are all worth quite a bit as they can be sold as stat raisers, so just use a really cheap minion and if you get the minion zapped, sell the slime, rinse, repeat. :D

Lol LizBlackDog xD anywayz right the zappers (I've heard all of them) can destroy minions, items in your inventory, and pet's treasury.

Actually, it CAN hit the pet's treasure, so I would absolutely recommend removing all of your pet's treasure before using the zapper. It's happened to me quite a few times.

Seriously? o.o I never knew it could zap items in your pets treasure chests too =S I've been zapping one of my pets for a few days know and she has quite a lot of items in there, I guess I'll take those out of there then.
