Is this normal ? I adopted it from the adoption centre, and it happened to have no gender. I was just wondering if this is a glitch, or if I can get in trouble for it because I really don't want that.

Chances are your darkonite started out as an Endeavor or Cadogre. When they're adopted from Atebus they have no gender, if they're potioned into something else they continue to have no gender.

It's absolutely okay like that no need to worry. What said is right, your Pet probably started as an Endeavor or Cadogre and they are naturally genderless when you create them on Atebus. There's also a small zapper glitch, that takes away the gender of a Pet but in that case there'd be no gender at all (meaning that after "Gender:" there'd only be a blank space and no gender sign or text) while in the stats of your Pet it says clearly "Gender: None" - as it should be so your Pet is legally genderless as far as I know. :)
