So, for my college's job placement department we have to make a resume and have 3 references.
My problem is that I've never really worked outside of my home a day in my whole life. This is fine on my resume, but it makes finding references very difficult. This is for a grade, so I'm probably going to fail this because I've never had a job -_-;
Mm, I have that problem too.
Well, sort of. I have references, but they want ones from THIS state. I've never worked in this state, and I haven't lived here long enough to make any good personal ones. <<
you haven't been active in any form of organization or something? If so, get a superior from that as a reference. I dunno how it works in the US but it's fine here :P
THEY CAN'T BREAK YOU IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SPINE
Have you ever done any volunteering, or even babysitting? I think you could possibly use teachers or professors, too.
Before I got my first job, I did a lot of volunteering, and the people I volunteered with were more than happy to let me use them as references.

No, or else I would use that since they do accept that. I was too busy trying not to completely flunk out of high school to do any volunteer work or have job. I would try to use a teacher from high school, but I can't find any contact info -_-;
unless you are obligated to have 3 references, i wouldn't worry about it. i have 15 years job experience but i am selective about what i put on a resume. i realize this is for a grade so it may be somewhat different. are they wanting personal or professional references?
i agree that you should seek out high school teachers or extra-curricular teachers that can give you a good reference.

yeah i was just gonna says use high school teachers. and sometimes i use my grandma's friends because they just know me as my grandma's "sweet little granddaughter" and won't bag on me xD; so maybe use relative's friends? or just any sort of successful adult who thinks you're a good person?
