Recently I paid for a pet overlay, which I love (it's Alastairr) and I have yet to re-make his icon on my profile to reflect that.

Now, I cannot draw. But I know someone who can draw -very- well...and me and her were wondering; would she be allowed to re-draw people's pets totally (when asked for and paid for with sP in the appropriate forum) or is this not allowed? Would she only be able to edit the original pet images, or could she redraw the whole pet herself?

I wasn't sure about copyright and rules and stuff like that. She had to go offline so she asked me to post on the forums. :)

yes people do that a lot actually - i've never seen one like yours where its just little changes. you just can't cover what your pet is - like if your pet is a sun donadak, you can't cover where it says your pet is a sun donadak and put a dark matter donadak in its place and pretend you really have one. hopefully that makes sense :)
