Subeta Mobile. A way to access the Subetian world on the go, without being kicked off and being forced to re-enter your username/password combo.

Subeta Mobile is an idea I have had for atleast six months and have decided to share it with the masses and in hopes that it creates a demand for a portable way to access Subeta.

Please reply to this thread and tell your friends of this idea.

What's wrong with accessing Subeta from cellphones via the internet as I know a fair few users do? @;

I myself access subeta from my friend's cell phone but when i do, it always kicks me off.and he owns a 3g Iphone.

i just think that someone should make a Subeta application for the Iphone and other phones that support it. Or atleast make a seperate mobile version of some sort

I own a 3G Blackberry. It loads fine -- the layout and all. But I can't get farther than logging in. I type in the right username and password, get to the news page, go elsewhere, and bam. Gone. Done. Logged out.

It used to not be that way, and I'd post from my phone. But they must have changed something in the cookie's script/general backend of the site.

Personally -- I'd love a little a condensed version of the forum -- no avatars, stars, achievements -- where I can reply and all. Maybe a little cellular icon next to my post so I can show off posting from my phone. And just a way around the big things -- training and games. :)

In one of the recent keith answers, he had a question about a mobile version of subeta.

he said it's a good idea but not something they are focusing on right now

I have the same problem with my iPhone. I can log in, look at the news, then it kicks me off when I try to go farther than that.

Hmm, I think a couple of people browse fine on phones... Only thing that doesn't work is the new events.

If it helps, I think customCSS can get around some of the forumstuff, but I guess it'll be a bit of a nuisance having to turn it on/off.

Scarsdale, thats exactly how i feel,man! i would like to access Subeta from a cellphone and not be kicked off less than five minutes into my internet experience.

I dont mind having a small icon instead of a huge avatar, if it will make the cell page load faster, I just want to post on the forums and explore the Subetan world.

I'm on a Blackberry Pearl, and the browser it gave me did that alot, but with mini Opera it works just fine.

thanks for posting this, it is very valuable information for this thread to have posted upon it. I usually do not watch the keith answers because i dont have a computer of my own that has internet. {I have watched a few of them, but not lately}
