I just zapped my Magnus (Itilius) and got an Experiment .

They're both reptiles and... I was wondering, does anyone know if what kind of experiment you get is in any way tied to what species you had before? A lot of the experiments resemble a few of the pets really strongly.

I don't think so.. Chi used to be an experiment, but after I zapped it again, it turned into another one.

But before that, it was an 893, and before that it was a Legeica. Both horse-like things. But I think it was more of a coincidence.

Sadly there is no trick like that, at least not that I'd know :( It's just random what comes from the zapper, same for which experiment pet you might get. I zapped Lillard now a few times and he turned into two different experiment pets, both not even close to what he was before.

I think there might be a small connection between some of the pets and Experiments. MoonMane was a Paralix before she zapped into a 549. Notice they both have that fur on the head and tail. They both have horns, and the ears and body shape are almost the same. But some of them, like 1536, doesn't really look like any pet at all. If there is a trick, I know a few of the experiments I want.
