I want curls on it. For tomorrow. So I can look good to this guy who is cute and blond and stuff.
But seriously now, are there any tips that you could give me on how to make curls on straight hair? [:
EDIT: typo.
Depends on what kind of curls you want? Curling iron works, for example. Or you could do what I've done a few times, wash your hair and braid it while it's still damp. The more braids, the more curly it will get, if you're lucky.
I use a curling iron. My hair is painfully straight. You just need to be careful, because if you screw up a curl, it's not going to want to curl again. The tighter and longer you keep the hair on the iron determines the tighter the curl. If this is your first time, you'll probably want some help. It also helps to section off your hair as you are doing it. And definately, when you're done, do a heavy coat of hair spray.

My hair didn't hold curls too well, whenever I tried to use a curling iron. So what I do is this. I know it looks weird, but it always gives my hair really nice curls. Also you won't damage your hair at all and it's really cheap. It did take me a few tries to get used to it though. If you want really curly hair, I'd suggest you sleep with them in your hair.
Edited for misspellings~

Since I see you own a straightener I'd actually look up a tutorial on doing curls with that. I do my curls with a flat iron all the time.

My hair is INSANELY long, but yet...sometimes it's curly other times its straight. But, my tip for you is to wash it, get out of the shower, rub some conditioner in your hands. Not much, but like a quarter size amount. Rub that through your ends, not like gel but just let your hair soak it up and dry. That's what I do at least. Hope it works for you <3
Graduated, now time to get on with my life.
Working on; Achievements. These things are hard!

I always find it hard to curl my hair, it doesn't curl it just gets kinks in it. There are some great videos on youtube etc if you want tips.
My mom used to talk about doing this! When she was a kid, my grandmother used to do this for my mom and her two sisters. The only difference is that instead of using paper bags, she'd use cloth strips (ripped up pillowcases, I think), which are reusable and are softer (and less noisy) to sleep on than paper. Other than that, it's the same concept.
