I keep hearing this noise that sounds like somebody sniffing, but nobody else is in the house, (my mom and grandma are having a garage sale) and my cats are all downstairs sleeping. It's seemed to have stopped for now, thankfully. :o

So CC, let's talk about weird/annoying noises and such.

...could be a rapist with a cold hiding under your bed. I mean, it's unlikely, but always possible :D

I hear all sorts of weird sounds - but it's usually because of neighbours. And if it's absolutely silent, I hear a deafening ringing in my ears...which is annoying, as I like silence ;( it drives me mad.

I was upstairs and I swear I heard my sister say her dog's name, since he was barking. And then I came downstairs, thinking she had gotten off work early, and she's wasn't here. It really sounded just like her saying his name, it was weird.

ahem Someone's haunting you. It'll start with the random sniffles, and then a dementor from Harry Potter will start roaring at you. And THEN a random physco emlo will murder you with a katana. :)

My brother's video game is annoying. Worst background music ever.

The other day I kept hearing someone vomiting over my music, but everyone was asleep. I'm schizophrenic, so I'm accustomed to hearing weird non-existent noises, but it was still scary.

Well...the AC makes some weird noises when it runs at times. Took me a few weeks to figure that outXD

every now and then the air pump in the fish tank does this strange, long gurgling sound; it's usually a very quite hum....strange.

Once my brother and I both heard very clear knocking on a wall in our basement. No one else was in the house, and when we went to the other side of the wall to investigate there was nothing there. :o I was very scared to go down there for a long time.
