So I'm moving out of this house in a couple months. Since we've lived here, literally everything that could break, has. Our landlord is an unreliable brat, it took her two months to arrange for our heater to be fixed in the middle of winter! The faucet, mold hidden in the attic, doorknobs and locks falling off. Just general hell. So, I'm glad to be leaving soon.

Background, a couple months ago they did major reconstruction on our street and tore the hell out of the driveway. They repaved it, but left the concrete messy and generally screwed up. They came, evened it out, and I assumed removed the debris.

I was wrong.

To try and get most of the security deposit back, I've been trying to fix up the lawn. It's been a while because my back is horrible and pushing the mower almost kills me.

So I go to mow it, with HER lawnmower that was left here, BAM. They left chunks of concrete all over the grass apparently. Ripped the cover clean off the gas line.

FML. She wants $400 for it. .___.

She also wants to charge me for the garden that the city construction destroyed. Apparently I should have potted and moved it, even though they didn't even notify me that they were going to do it. Infuriates me. -_-

Let's add for posterity that I'm a broke 17yr old college student who had this house and the lease dumped on me by my mother. I can hardly afford the rent as it is, and each stupid thing that goes wrong depletes what little I had saved for my new place's deposit.
