i find this all very fascinating. im sure religious people would call it bullshit though. no matter what kind of proof you give people, i highly doubt most of them are going to accept that and juat throw away what theyve been told for their entire life. unfortunately :/

oh, and it would be awesome if they like, drew a picture of what it would have looked like when it was alive, like they do with dinosaurs. i keep trying to imagine it, but its not working lol

I found this interesting. c: But to be honest I really don't see the whole hoo-ha about it. What if God, if God exists, created similar animals? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I just don't see how similar animals = evolution. It's a good theory, but in no way is it foolproof. Anyone who asserts it is has a serious lack of intellectual thought, in my opinion - and appear to just tag along with mainstream scientific view in a hope to look intellectual. x_x

I've been hearing about this and of course I'm thrilled at the finding, but I'd thought scientists had stopped calling it 'the missing link' before it's unveiling at the Museum of Natural History.

No doubt it's certainly a significant finding - the oldest fossil found yet that connects us to apes. And as an added bonus it's one of the most complete too. I'm glad it's being studied instead of hanging on another private collector's wall. :)
