So, there is a thunder storm going on outside. Hail, lighting, thunder, rain, etc.

My dad comes home from switching cars at his work and asks me what we should have for dinner. Since the weather outside is pretty bad, I thought that I might have cereal, and he can make anything he wants.

He opens up the fridge, grabs some hamburger, along with a few plates and a spatula. Then he goes outside and turns on the grill, and cooked the meat.

Has any of your parents ever done something that surprised you, or something just plain weird?

My dad cooked me hotdogs for breakfast once. And it's not like a late, 11:30 A.M breakfast, it was around 9:00 A.M.

Whoa. Your dad is awesome. :O My dad would probably be the one eating cereal. a few minutes later OLOL, my dad just called me and asked if I wanted a burrito. It was slightly odd. And coincidental. o_o

At least you get to eat cereal for dinner. My mom would say it's not good for dinner, blah, fuckingblah.

But at least he didn't get struck my lightning. I hope not?

My dad took me, my bro (who hated it and sat their rooting for the other team), and sis to a minor leauge baseball game. Which was odd cause normally my dad is a stick-in-the-mud.

Plus he has actually been wanting to watch me ride my horse which has never happened. He never came to any of my horse shows when i was younger and stuff. (I have been riding for 8 plus years now)

I know whenever it hails here, he runs outside to pick some up to throw in the freezer to measure later. Once, he accidentally locked himself out. My mom and I just stood there laughing for about a minute at his stupidity.

I think one time a few years back there was also a bad hurricane here, and he was outside taking pictures of it.

He's a weather geek, what can you do? :P

Hamburgers are good at any time...but cooking in weather like that outsideO.o

one time i woke up in the middle of the night, went downstairs to get something to drink... and what do you know.. my grandma was making pancakes..!! she said she had nothing better to eat..

My dad loves to cook outside in lightning storms. I'll look at him through the window like: O-o;;? And yell "Get inside, before the lightning zaps your ass off!"
