You walk in to a laid-back boutique on the corner of the quiet road, a sign on the roof reads "Writers Cafe", and as you are a aspiring writer, you decide to stop in, just to see what its like. As you walk in, you immediately feel at home, weather it be the crackling fireplace one the left wall, the smell of fresh coffee and tea, or the low chatter and rustle of papers being passed between writers. "Welcome to the writers cafe!" A bright-eyed woman greets you at the door. "I'm Aphea, one of the regulars here, they put me on door duty today." She smiles fondly, but she suddenly realizes, she doesn't know you, and asks your name. You tell her and state that you just, stumbled in, after searching for someone who would listen to your stories and chat about them. "That's what the Cafe is for," She smiles mischievously. "No money exchanged, you get to sit down with others of your kind; writers of poem's, short stories, novel's, any kind of work; as long as the work is yours you can come in and show it to others. Go check out the rules board before settling in, as some customers are unnerved by what we do and don't allow." She points you in the direction of a graffiti-like wall, filled with lines of words. They read:

1. If the work is not yours, do not say it is, you may post it, but only with credit to the author.
2. You may be mad about a comment on your work, but please, no throwing your cups at them, be mature, as this is a sanctuary for some.
3. As stated above, you may reserve your right to comment, but please be mature about it, and do not flame someone.
4. Please keep your writing to a PG13 level, as we would not want our shop to be shut down.
5. It is best, if you would please use the journal system for your work, as not all customers can find your links.
6. Be more mature then to use chat speak please.
7. If you break these rules, you will go first to probation, second to suspension(depending on the crime) and third to expulsion. I or others that rank(Will post them when they join...) will decide which punishment will work best.

The rules seem simple enough, so you go up to the counter for a refreshment and reff-sheets, and start filling them in.

This is a mash-up of an HA roleplay and a place where you chat about stories and other things, as I have a heck of a time trying to find a board saying, 'Read my story and I'll rate yours'. Obviously,I could have done that, but this seems better=D If some people join I'll post my reff sheets.

I haven't been working on any stories... just this entry for a writing contest on Gaia >.> And I'm sort of stuck. Writer's block is evil.

Does anyone know of any inventions that they would want to exist in this world? Within reason, of course. xD

My dad's always trying to think of things we could invent, but I'm always fresh out. Hover boards where used really well in this futuristic book trilogy "Uglies" being the first, so I recommend reading books like that to help.

Now those forms we make everyone fill out, all new members have to do is tell us what to call you and put it on the sheet. Points to a clipboard on the wall.
