i had to pick a piano piece to do for my school standard grade, so i picked one (minuet in G) that wasn't too hard or anything and sounded OK anyway i brought it home and asked my mum if she could play it though so i knew what it was like she picked it up and just started laughing then came out with 'Hannah this is the exact same piece i chose for my standard grade at you age'
it was just weird XD it wasn't even a particularly popular piece, the teacher was surprised when i picked it XD
any one else had strange things like that happen to them?
lol no because my mother is hardly what you would call " a good mothering type "
thats wierd tho
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
I asked for help on my Algebra homework and my mom dug up the exact same worksheet from when she was in the 9th grade. Weird. :o
Lol. All the time.
All of my mum's friends say I look exactly like she did when she was 16.
Along with that, I dated this guy who turned out to be the son of her former high school crush.
XD i can't, she went to one down in London and im in Scotland XD
although according to family 'tradition' i am scheduled to almost blow up the school soon every woman in my family has accidentally made TNT in chemistry and ended up getting the whole school evacuated XD granny- accidentally made TNT auntie-ditto mum-same and im pretty sure my grannies sister did to XD
Wowww. XD
Nah, my mom isn't and wasn't anything like me when she was a kid. No connections like that. :(
XD you were probably alot more like her than you think you were
Same elementary school.
ancestry win.

Exactly.
wtf i dont believe the TNT thing. what responsible school chem lab conveniently leaves the ingredients needed to make TNT lying around?
but when i was 13 or 14, i started really getting into goth rock. Bauhaus, Siouxsie, Smiths, Alien Sex Fiend, etc and so on. I hadn't spoken to my mom for a few years but I did that year, and when she asked me what kind of music, movies, books I was into, she told me I read/listened/watched all the same type of media she did when she was my age. CREEPY. For the most part, I don't like my mom, I'd hate being similiar to her in any way.
I hate it when people say I look like my parents. And they can never pick which parent I look like.
Hai there. Both my parents are brown haired. I'm the blonde. I don't think I look anything like them.
XD yeah, weird thing to have past down generations though
they had the ingredients for DNT though, which was what they were making in class, if it over heats it turns to TNT XD
why would any school ever permit students to make any kind of explosive at all anywhere ever ever ever?
DNT isn't explosive, only TNT, that's why when they found out they evacuated the whole school until it was solved out
Yeah, me and my dad are strangely similar...
We're in the car listening to the radio and 'Paint it Black' comes on. My dad then mentions how this is the only song by the Rolling stones he likes...then he adds but 'Satisfaction' was pretty good. It's odd because I have exactly the same opinion. And there's other stuff, like his taste in electronic music...scarily similar to mine - often down to the same songs. It's funny because he never listened/spoke about music around me as a child, so he's has no influence over my music taste.
I think it's partly due to our personalities being very, very alike.

-looks it up then questions mum on it- not as explosive as TNT
remember though they were at the top of the school and it was 20 years ago there wasn't half as many health and safety things back then don't think they do it in schools anymore
at any rate they did XD
lmfao ok whatever that's cool i guess sorry for being such a prick about it haha
