I've checked all her hiding spaces and spaces that she may have been but I can't find her anywhere D= D= D=

Usually when I shake her food bag and call her name, she comes running, but she didn't come this time.

I'm freaking out because she's up there in age and I'm really hoping she didn't crawl up and die or something D=

I hope she's okay and she's just hiding somewhere...

Any chance she could have slipped outside? That's usually the case whenever my sister can't find her cat.

No, all of our windows have screens in them and the doors are closed...she's also afraid of the outside...

Hm... Well, she'd have to turn up eventually for food, but check and make sure she isn't locked in a closet or something. My aunt did that to her old kitty.

That's scary. One time we couldn't find our cat for two days. Then she showed up on the doorstep perfectly fine one morning. She had just run off for a bit. Then Tomo gets lost every other week. I don't even know if he's outside or inside now. And there are storms coming. He'll show up at the door moaning pitifully. :P

As for your cat, how old is she? Cats usually get ill before they die. I've never known a cat to just go off and die without any warning. Maybe she's just in a deep sleep.

This. Ginger always gets locked in closets. Then Tomo got locked between two doors once. He was trying to get outside and my mom accidentally shut him between the front door and the screen door. So he was wedged there for about 20 minutes. That was fun.

That's actually what I was thinking, since the cat's not outside. Some cats can, and quite frequently do, sleep through absolutely anything.

She's somewhere between seven and eight years old.

We found her. Don't know where she was, but we found her. I searched for an hour for her. I picked her up and told her not to scare me like that again haha.

Phew. -wipes off sweat-

Oh, that's not old for a cat. Most cats live to be over 15. My old cat died at 18.

My old cat Tessy was 20 going on 21 when she died. :( It was sad because she had lost all control of anything below her waist and she had to drag herself around using her forepaws. We couldn't stand to see her like that, and there was no operation or anything for us to do, so we had to put her to sleep.

OH THANK GOD I love that cat to pieces, and I can't stand the thought of her dying anytime soon D= At least she'll hopefully live for eight or more years more =D

Aw, when/if she gets to that point, I'd be completely heartbroken.

How'd your kitten get into the fridge, Shiinamu?

I would take a can of wet food or tuna fish open it up in a place you'll be hanging around for a while and wait for her to come out. Maybe she found a new hidey hole?

Edit: Oh, you found her. I didn't read the whole board lol. Well, I'm glad you found her!

Yeah. c: It's rare for a cat to die before the age of 15. Most cats live into their mid to late teens.

Good thing you found her. I've had that happen to me with my cat, only to find him under my bed because the vacuum scared him shitless. Heh. Edit: Our cats are the same age.

phew, you had me thinking your cat was like 15 or so.

Yeah, 7 or 8 is not that old. xD that's how old my cat is...she's still my baby ❤️

Sometimes my cat ignores people when they are looking for her, we usually find her just tucked into meatloaf position under a bed or on a chair somewhere. But she almost always comes for the right food. xD Unless she's trapped somewhere. My mom has definitely had some freak outs where she couldn't find her and realized later that the cat was shut in a closet or the basement or something.

And when my cat was a kitten, she got shut in the refrigerator once too. xD We didn't realize she was in there and she wasn't gone long enough for us to look for her. She got out very quickly though, because we heard something being knocked over in the fridge within like...3 minutes. :P

The same thing happened with my cat about 2 years ago, and it turns out she was in a kitchen drawer. xD

She was just a little kitten, and I opened the drawer and hear, "Mew!" and see a tiny head poke out.
