Juvenal Camp

Welcome to Camp Kaydence, a camp for trouble teens to come and get help with their problems, whatever they may be. The camp is located on a ranch, where the teens will have to work, to learn to become productive citizens, and others to get over some of their problems. For some this is their last chance before jail, and others this might be the chance they need to get back on the right path.

Location: A ranch in the Colorado Mountions. The ranch is like a cattle ranch, with horses, cattle, dogs, chickens, and other animals. There is a main house where the owners live, there is a stable hand house, and also cabins for the teens. There are three barns, arranged in a horse shoe shape, near the main pastures.

Character Sheet Name: Mikale (Pronounced Mik-ale) Statch Nicknames: None Age: 17 Gender: Female (but preferred and referred to as otherwise, a male) Looks: I decided to go with the HA creator... make a little more... personalized instead of taking one from google. Personality: Laid back and careless. She... er... he doesn't give two flying craps about anyone. He's known to be very lazy, and thinks he's funny. He's got a knack for lowering peoples self-esteem quickly. Staff or Teen: Teen Reason for being here: Can't get along with anyone and refused to abide the law. his parents don't want him at home, and the cops think he can do better. History: His dad calls him an abomination for not abiding the plans "god made for him" and his mom is embarrassed to have him around because of the way he is. Because of this, he has taken a life of rebelliousness, giving up all he cares about. He only wanted to be accepted, but clearly the rebellious ways didn't change anything other than get him in Juvi-Camp.

He is a caring person, but he does not put up with disrespect. Staff or Teen: Staff Reason for being here: He owns the ranch and is also a doctor. History: When Ty was younger he did not get along with his family, and he still does not. His father never approved of him, and when he got mad enough beat him. Ty started to train in M.M.A. and use to be an instructor. He started the ranch to help teens, get off the path he once knew all too well.

Name: Shiloh Madison Nicknames: Shi, Tidbit, Little Bit Age: 8 Gender: female Looks: Short blonde hair, with bright blue eyes. She is small for her age, but very athletic. She is usually lightly tanned from being outside. Personality: She is always shy at first towards new people. Once you get to know her, she is a natural sweetheart, and loves to help anyone. Staff or Teen: Neither, Adoptive daughter of owner Reason for being here: Her dad owns the ranch. History: Shiloh has a very troubled past, that will be revealed to the others later.

(I hope you don't mind if I start... ^_^; I can delay it if you like, but I just wanted something to introduce my character.)

Mikael sighed as she sat alone in her room, staring at the ceiling. It was her first night in Camp Kaydence, and she knew nothing of anyone here other than the cop that brought her in here and the owner she met earlier that day before he dismissed her. She couldn't get the image of her father literally jumping for joy when he found out his daughter was going to Kaydence, and her mom literally glowed. Was she really that unwanted, just because she wanted to be a guy? If rebelling wasn't the answer, then how else would she get it across to them that she wasn't about to change. "I don't deserve this..." she thought out loud. As the sun faded behind the land, her eyes soon began to close and dreams swept through her head.

(Do we have a scenario? Or Plot? Or know of anything big happening...? Like... possibly a murder in the camp, or someone goes crazy? Just a thought... ^_^;)

(As of the moment, no, I figured I would let it play out. Please no murdering at the camp. I figured since it was a trouble teens camp, the action would come with more campers.)

Ty smiled lightly as he came out of the barn, he was looking for his daughter this fine morning. They had been playing a game, but he had to get a few chores done, so they had to end the game. He shook his head, wondering where the kid had wandered off to, but he was sure she could not get into too much trouble. He then felt something jump on his back. He glanced over his shoulder, to see Shiloh, "There, you are Shi" he said with a smile, as he got her off his back. "I thought you were never gonna finish working, so I went to play with Kanaye" she replied, as she walked beside him.

Ty looked up to see one of the campers, and one of the guards he had hired. He had only spoke to the man on the phone, but he was pretty sure, that was the 'Kyle' he had spoken to on the phone.

"I'm Ty, yes, I believe we spoke on the phone about you being a guard" he replied to the older man, but Ty was taller. Shiloh smiled lightly, before hiding behind Ty, like she always did around new people. "Oh, sorry this is Shiloh" he said, as he side stepped to keep her from hiding behind him. "Hi" she replied shyly, before hiding behind Ty again. "Well, you can get settled first, either in the main house or bunk house" said Ty.

"Your welcome, and we needed the help, the more campers we have, the more people we will need to keep up with them" he replied. He looked over at one of the pastures, making sure everyone was where they were suppose to be. "So, why don't you put your things away, and I can give you a tour of the place" suggested Ty, "Also, do you know how to ride a horse by chance?"

"Shi, show him to where he will be staying, and then bring him to the broodmare barn, I have to check on one of the horses in there to make sure she is not giving birth yet" he replied, to the young one behind him. "Ok, Daddy" she replied, as she reluctantly came out from behind him. "I will see ya, both in a bit" he said, as he headed off to one of the barns.

"Follow me" she said, as she started to walk toward the main house where he would be staying. She was a bit quiet, but she had actually spoken to him, without being forced so that was progress. A border collie named Houdini ran up to him, wanting to be petted. Shiloh reached down and petted him, before the dog went toward Kyle, wondering who he was. "He is always curious about people" she commented.

"Yeah, it is peaceful, and I like having all the animals around" she replied, not liking the silence that much. She giggled slightly, as Houdini, jumped up licking the man, before running off, that was the third person he had down that to. "I think he thinks he has to check everyone out before he lets them around us" she commented.

"Well, this is my first time really having a family, so I am glad to live here" she replied, as she opened the door to the main house, which was a stone cottage. "He does not like the people that live down the road, he always growls when they come around" she commented, "But, I do not really think a lot of people like them, they are always mean toward everyone."

Shiloh smiled lightly leading him up-stairs to the guest room that he would be staying in. She opened an oak door, that led to a large room, with a bathroom, closet, queen size bed, table, and T.V. "This is where you are staying" she said, "Yeah I don't blame him either" she agreed.

"I am glad you like your room" she replied, as she leaned against the door frame. She nodded "I guess I will take you to where my Daddy is at" she said, as she lead him out of the room, and back downstairs, and outside. She knew the ranch too well, she could walk around with her eyes closed.

Mikael jumped up from her sleep startled out of a dream. Great... morning. She fell back down onto her bed and grumbled to herself quietly, wondering when they were going to call all the kids out. She leaned up and looked around her room, grumbling some more. What was her first day going to be like, who was she going to meet, and most of all... what is it like. She had no idea of the day ahead of her, and didn't want to know.
