am I the only odd person that somewhat does silly art and I know I am kinda good...but COME ON ruddy chibi art (and not very good) is getting more bids then mine.

Your examples are all male, and I think most people have female characters. That, and I haven't seen you around before so maybe people are more reluctant to bid. But um. Shit you're pretty talented.

XD I have had my friends complain to me about this before. Sometimes, it comes down to fads/styles wanted, or advertising, as said above.

By the by, after a lot of searching, I found a WIP of yours and your art is incredible. xD! (The links kept on messing up and asking for a password, damn photobucket. D:) Do you have an art auction up, then? 8D searches I haven't been in the auction section in a while - I sorta preferred it when the auction threads mixed in with the commisions; that section is so easy to overlook and so annoying to check. xD;

I think you'e amazingly talented and have a lot to offer - but like otherhave said, perhaps you might want to show a female character, as most of us happen to either be, or have, female representations with HAs.

It's all about the market's demand yo. If we be wantin' chibis, then course chibis are gonna be more popular than bust-up or waist-ups. Study the art market economy!

Maybe it's just me, but I probably wouldn't bid on a headshot, no matter how great the quality. :) Your art is fantastic, I'm sure you'd get bidders if you offered a little more.

Well, selling art depends as much on the audience you're selling to as the art itself. :P Even if it doesn't sell well, that doesn't mean it's not good, just not what people want.

If you love your art yourself, that should be good enough.
