Is it OK to adopt pets, spruce them up a bit to make them more desirable, then put them back up for adoption?

(I can't find the answer anywhere in the Help Forum, so i'm asking here. forgive me if this is a duplicate or in the wrong place.)

You mean just, adopting, zapping and putting them back after getting a rare color? Of course you can, I sometimes do that too ^_^ If you are doing that maybe try to find well named Pets in the Adoption Agency, they will most likely be readopted when they have a pretty color. Something like !w00t!Pet" is not a nice name, right? xD

i do zap until i get a good color, but also train them up a bit.

also pick ones with nice names, hoping they'll get good homes when they're more distinctive.

i have 2 right now that i adopted, and i don't think i can let them go now!!
