Click "Pets" in the side list. "Adopt a Pet" will be at the top of the next page. Choose a species you like and voila!

Or just click HERE

It says "adopt" but you actually create a pet there. ;)

To make a pet, select Pets from the side bar and click on Adopt a pet.
