So... Hai. (I apologize in advance if this is the wrong fourm to post in. Please move if it is. )

This is my first theard I made in this fourm. So, please be nice!

I have a problem. I really like my best friend (Let's call him m dawg) but, he is really in love with this girl (Let's call her W). M dawg always talks about her and he even wrote a song about her, but never gave it to her. And he is always hopeing to get W as his girlfriend. I support him totally, but in my mind, I just really want to tell him that I like him... Unfortunietly(sp), I am a quiet girl, so, I can never speak my mind expect for people I feel comfertable with..

Well.. I mean, I am comfertable telling m dawg my secrets and such, but i'm not comfertable confessing to him because it might ruin our friendship.

What should I do? Should I confess to him? Or no because there's a chance of ruining our friendship?

I'd tell him, it's never good to hide the truth. If that does ruin your friendship, he may not be such a good friend as you thought.

If you tell him, it could be awkward. He's obviously infatuated with someone who is not you. Sometimes it messes with the friendship, sometimes it doesn't- it always depends on the parties involved. Don't expect too much if you tell him, I don't think he'll reciprocate your feelings.

It's up to you to decide what you really should do, but if you're expecting him to respond to you that he has feelings for you too, it doesn't sound likely.

i'd probably reconsider my timing. telling him your feelings when you know that he likes someone else is really unfortunate (and inappropriate).

Imagine you're in his place. If you like someone -that- much and then one of their friends randomly tells you they've got a crush on you. What do you do?

It won't end well if you tell him while he still has a thing for your friend.

I think you already know the answer deep down, and are seeking advice since it is not the one you really want.

If you value his friendship your going to stay silent because at this time the likelihood is that your friendship will get ruined. He has feelings for someone else and it is not you so it probably would end badly.

In the meantime I suggest downloading Taylor Swift's "You Belong With Me" and adding it to your mp3 player/ipod.
