During the big war in 2489 the Earth as we know it was destroyed. It was left as just an ugly mass of rock, poluted water, and smog for air. With the help of the scientist at NASA aplanet called Silconia was found to be another Earth. So the healthiest humans of each race were found along with two of each kind of pet.
Well once the group made it to Silconia it was with the shock of their lives. The planet was inhabited by beings who looked like their pets except they stood on two legs, could talk, and lived in a working society. There are no buildings or anything of the like but there are farmers, healers, hunters,warriors, and some who were trained only as midwives. What happens when some of the humans fall in love with the beings here?
Setting: A planet where the beings are mostly animal anthros. There isn't any technology so no cell phones or anything like that except for the humans. They are allowed some but nothing to heavy duty. Full of farmlands and forests.
Rule: Do not ask to join Use everyday Subeta rules Post ' Do you know me' to join as a human Post ' Yes I know you' to join as a being of Silconia Respect others as you would wish them to do the same for you If you have a question Smail me

ooc|| Yes I know you. The anthro design that I'm using is modeled after my Lasirus, Ragar, but he looks more like a wolf so if you want, I could just say he's an anthro wolf. :3
Name: Ragar "Captain Blackwing" Frost Age: 32 Looks: ClicketyClickClick Personality: Ragar is a lying cheat who looks for and uses loopholes in every situation that he can. If you specify the conditions for a deal, he will keep your word, but if you leave anything out, he'll worm his way out of it. If he's caught in a bad situation, he'll cleverly get out, usually by manipulating someone to do his will and feeling not a twinge of guilt while he's doing it. When he's talking to people, he tends to be blunt, sarcastic, snappy, and unafraid to speak his mind. There are very, very few people that he will truly respect. Calling: Pirate captain of a ship called Rolling Thunder. History: Ragar was born in a very busy rural village that mined all sorts of minerals and traded them for money. His mother fell ill when he was young and died, but since he knew so little of her, he wasn't sad at all. His father became more and more withdrawn, not even fixing his own dinner. Frequently other villagers would come and try to comfort him, bringing gifts and other such things. Ragar had to cook the meals, Ragar had to work for the money and so on. However, Ragar soon grew tired of working for a living. He didn't want to struggle in the mud just so he and his father wouldn't starve; he wanted to actually have time to do things that he enjoyed. It was shortly after he realized this that he thought of stealing something and selling it. Since neither his mother or his father had a chance to raise him properly, he didn't know the consequences and such for stealing, so he tried it. It worked. He stopped doing odd jobs and began stealing from people. He got very good at it; nicking pocket watches, gold bracelets and rings, even snatching fragments of gemstones as carts of them were pushed along by the miners. Even when it became evident of the things he was doing, his father didn't care. He dismissed the villagers when they came to him with complaints. One day, when he was about 15, Ragar was caught trying to break into somebody's house. He knew the penalty would be severe, so he made some quick maneuvers and got away, running like the devil himself was chasing him. He spent a couple years of thieving from one village and running away to the next in a cycle, but it got to the point where he didn't even want to walk the distances anymore. When he heard legends in a pub of pirate attacks, he was immediately interested. Miraculously, Ragar managed to find a crew of pirates and begged to work for them. They grudgingly allowed him, constantly mistreating him, but he didn't care. He got his fair share of gold, and pirate life was fun to him. Eventually they grew to accept him. He worked with those pirates for five years before it disbanded. The captain was retiring; he had enough gold to live in luxury until he died. He gave Ragar his hat and left. There were a couple younger pirates from the crew who still wanted to thieve for gold, so Ragar stole a ship--Rolling Thunder--and began recruiting more for his crew. It quickly grew to a healthy size; he even accepted a couple street rats in a couple different cities. For a while, Ragar prospered with his business, attacking merchant ships at sea and stealing whatever goods he could find. Often he went on sidetracks, following rumors of hidden treasure. In most cases, he was successful. One person, however, told him of a most magnificent stockpile of treasure that was very valuable and guarded by a fearsome monster. Greedy as he was, Ragar went after it. The monster was there--but the treasure was not. The monster, some sort of demon, attacked and struck hard. Four died on the spot before they managed to get back to the ship, and the creature caused considerable damage to the ship as it drifted back to the open seas. They were able to fix the ship, but the monster's wrath wasn't over yet. A couple of his crew had been poisoned. They died violent deaths, but soon after, Ragar discovered that the poison was contagious. Half of his crew fell ill, including his best friend and second man, a leopard anthro nicknamed Indigo for his dark blue eyes. In order to save the remaining half of his crew and put the sick ones out of their misery, Ragar shot all the poisoned men without showing any sign of emotion. Since then, profit had been low, and he was trying to recruit more men. He was even desperate enough to allow a couple women on his ship.
So sorry about how long that was. o.o;;;
((Do you know me?))
Name: Julien Toussaint
Age: 19
Looks: Not mine
Personality: He is a cheerful person who likes to talk to people about superficial things. He usually doesn't lend out his opinion unless asked and he gets touchy very easily. You don't want to set the Cajun boy off, believe me. Many find him comfortable to be around, but he doesn't have any close friends really. Many think he's just a shameless flirt sometimes, but when he finds someone he really likes he would never jerk around with their feelings. He's very loyal, except for when he's on the job. He's only really loyal to the highest bidder outside of his guild.
Calling (Job): He's a thief. He usually stays with any members of the Thieves Guild that he's in, and he gets paid whenever he gets an assignment.
History: He was left at an orphanage when he was born, but was adopted when he was three to a rather large family in Carencro, Louisiana. He was raised knowing that they weren't his biological parents, but Julien saw them as his parents. the family consisted of a mother, two sisters and a brother; he was the third oldest (the brother, Remy, being the oldest, and his sister, Serafine, being the second, he, the third, and Juliette being the youngest). One day, when Julien was fifteen, the war reached Louisiana by means of bombing. Everyone was killed except for Julien and Juliette, who had been protected by Remy and Serafine; their mother hadn't been with them at the time, and so she had no hope for protecting any of them. They were both taken to a hospital, but Juliette died three days later. Julien then became a lonely and reserved wanderer, stealing for money (this is where he learned most of his skills).
Other: Speaks in heavy Cajun accent. Just as a warning, I'll be writing with his Cajun accent as well, so for some it might be a tad hard to read, lol. Julien is based off of my uncle.
]]Sorry decided it would be better to intro here instead of editing it in above[[
Jason pushed some bushes out of the way clearing a path for the creature behind him. His followr had been gored by a wild animal. If it hadn't been for Jason, who had been with a military transport working as a medic, stumbled upon him. Seeing the poor creature dieind He stayed back and stopped most the bleeding, and then started to lead the "alien" back to a village. THe sun beat down vigourously making the bush whacking almosty unbearable. He had no water left giving what he had brought along to the injured Anthro. "How much farther Gregory?" Jason asked he didn't actually know the creatures name but he looked like a Gregory to him. The Boarish creatue held up two furry finger, representing two kilometers. Jason nodded grimly. His companion was deterioting fast two kilometers might kill the poor thing.
Jason had almost been right, just 20 meters out of the village Gregory collapsed falling under his own weight. The young medicquickly rushed to his followers side trying to pick him up. Jason was incredibly fit for a human but there was no way he could pick up this massive creature he needed help and quickly but he couldn't leave Gregory here unless scavengers decided to poke there ugly heads out of the sand. Suddenly as if luck was raining on them a young town sentry lazily doing his rounds walked with in shouting distance "HEY, YOU!, OVER HERE NEED HELP, GET HELP" Jason jumped up and down wildly waving to get the gaurds attention. The gaurd cocked his head and looked at him, this was a secluded village he wouldn't be surprised if the young creature had never seen a human before. Within minutes the sentry was back with 8 other gaurds weapons drawn as if he was a threat. then looking at his knees, laying in the hot desert sand, they saw, what Jason guessed to be a familiar face. They quickly grew angry shoving there long devilishly looking sowrds into Jasons face. He reached down hand on his old glock, 16 shots, 16 shots, the thought raced through his mind 16 shots left until the trusty side arm was out of bullets and became a useless club, he hoped he didn't have to use it on these villagers. "HELP ME YOU DAMN FOOLS, HE'S FRIENDLY" the coarse shout erupted from the dying beasts throat. "YES, SIR. SORRY SIR" the sentries shouted all hesitant on who should touch there obvious superior first. Finally all but two picked him up carefully and marched him towards the town. The other two then grabbed Jason by the arms and dragged the human after them...
Julien stood in an alley, hood of his sweater up, partially shoving his bangs into his eyes as a means of disguise. He didn't feel like wearing a shades today, and walking around a populated area with his face all out in the open was a tad dangerous, when you were involved in his profession.
The Cajun enjoyed watching the Silconians walk about, doing their day-to-day tasks. It really amazed him how sophisticated they were. He wasn't a judgmental person - he'd had enough of that in his life - but it was merely a surprise.He knew a lot of humans had felt inferior to the race once they had been discovered. He chuckled to himself. Besides, he was more ashamed of his own species. They killed their planet. He had had to leave his bayou behind, and that wasn't sitting well with him.
He looked up as he heard some commotion and looked up, one eye still covered by his bangs. His eyebrow rose as he saw a swarm of the animalistic sentries crowd around a human and another Silconian. Julien shrugged to himself, not really wanting to get involved, but when they hoisted the man after his beast friend, he decided he would take advantage of this to get out of his boredom.
"Bonjour, mes amis. 'Dis fella don' seem t'be causin' you too much trouble," He said, smiling. "From what I seen, he was jus' tryin' ta help, non?" He looked around, half of him hoping they would start a fight and the other half hoping that they would ignore him.
((If this is weird, I'm sorry. I couldn't really think of anything else. If y'all are havin' a hard time responding to this, I'll change it.))
ooc|| For the sake of Ragar's "background," can we say that the city's along a shoreline? ._.;
bic|| This small city seemed pretty uptight, with their sentries and big buildings leaving shadowed alleyways. Just looking at it, Ragar knew any sort of thievery wouldn't be tolerated, and that intrigued him. It was always fun to steal from cities like these.
Right then, his crew were in the tavern, probably getting a drink. He had told them to take a break for now; maybe have some rum. First he would sell the goods from the last city, then he'd look for possible candidates and pickpocket from them, like he usually did. Before anyone could catch him, he'd gather his crew, they'd go back to the ship, and he'd sell the goods in a different city. At the same time, though, he had to keep an eye out for other potential pirates.
His ear flicked at the sound of a crowd of people walking his way. Curious, he followed the noise and watched from a safe distance as more of his people walked by, carrying an injured anthro and, at the back, yanking a human along. He wrinkled his nose as another human approached the crowd, speaking in a strange accent that he had never heard before. He didn't like those creatures; they were too loud and ignorant for him. And he had heard their story: how they'd polluted their own planet to the point where it couldn't be lived in anymore. His eyes narrowed to slits as he watched the two humans. If they decided to muck up Silconia, they'd learn differently very quickly.
(Sure it can.)
Faith walked out of her garden and shaking to get the dust out of her fur. Going into her house she put the fresh vegetables on a cabinet and pulling her gloves off she kicked off her shoes. Going to her room she took her dress off and threw it in the corner of the room to wash it later. Putting a clean dress on she then walked out of her house not even bothering with shoes seeing as her paw like feet hurt wearing them.
Catching new scents rushing at her so fast she sneezed. Shaking her head she looked up to see two humans near the sentries. One as a captive and the other who seemed to be talking. Smirking she then looked the other way as the wind shifted and she caught Ragar's scent something she had caught only on the group of men who were at her sister's pub. Remembering the scent from when she had sold some produce in another town she figured out to not let him be noticed right off. With that she began to walk to the pub the black dress hugging her just a little tight to form against her. Her tail hung down low wagging just slightly.
Jason turned his head to the cajun man, thank god another human! he thought to himself. The other man was difficult to understand but he got the gist of it. he seemed like he was trying to help. Just then Gregory, or what ever his actual name was woke up looking around trying to struggle out of his grunts hands. "LET US GO!" he shouted obviously angry The grunts were scared and dropped him maybe a bit to fast, but the creature still did a spiral in the air and landed gently on one hand and his knees, standing up he brushed the dirt out of his thick black hair and snorted. "Idiots i said he was friendly now let him go" the Anthro said harshly The two grunts let Jason go, gently trying hard not to invoke there superiors wrath, they bowed and took a step back as he walked closer to Jason. "I thank you human, i may have died if it was not for your courage, I will pay you well for this anything you want. I am indebted to you" Jason smiled shaking his head "Some water , food, shelter and maybe a escort so i can catch up with my caravan tomorrow" "As you wish, by the way my name is Haigard, I thank you, you will always be welcome to this humble town of mine. Jainson go with this man and his friend to the tavern and tell them all drinks and food bought by these two are on me. also tell her he is to be granted a room to sleep. Tomorrow, human i will send you with two of my best scouts to reunite you with your caravan." Jason looked at the cajun. Friend? Haigard must have thought he knew him since he was helping. Jason smiled thanked Haigard who turned and walked away with his group of sentries leaving just Jaison behind. "Well, "friend" do you want to come to the pub or do you have others plans?" Jason said turning to the fellow man
Julien chuckled and relaxed his stance a bit as the other human came over after everything calmed down. He shrugged. "I nevah turn down an offer fo' a drink, "mon ami"," He said, smirking. He held out his gloved hand in greeting. "May I 'ave de name of de man who be gettin' me free food and drink?"
((Sorry for the short post. Not much else I could say, lol.))
Anastasia stood in the market, holding a basket of assorted things. She stood in nothing more than a plain pair of pants and a shirt, dodging people as she walked. Her eyes wandered the rows of stands, and people calling to her, claiming they had better prices.
But she ignored them, keeping her eyes on the ground. She could smell the fresh baked goods from the bakery, and the seductive scent of alchohol from the bar. After a quick run home to drop off the groceries, Anya was seen standing in front.
She watched people walk in and out, some drunk, some totally sober. It intrigued her. She loved watching the nature of people and anthros. Anya walked around the back, careful not to get anything on the simple white dress she wore now.
Standing on a box on her tip toes, her hands held the sill of a window as she peered inside. Oh how she wanted to go in, and just have on glass. She had tried it before, taking her parents hidding bottle of... She couldn't remember the name. Just one small glass, and she would be so content for the longest time. She could feel her heart pushing her towards the back door.

Faith was about to go in and visit with her sister when she caught a scent she knew. Shaking her head she walked around back and shaking her head she spoke, "Come on in Anya. The drink will be on my tab." With that she held her paw out towards the girl with a tilt of herh ead.
Unlike on Earth the drinking law wasn't really a problem besides if you have the money you could get it. Though most adults had a strict rule of pups(children) drinking too much.
