Im not sure if this has been touched on, but im just curious if members can close, delete topics they make. I know mods can close them.

You can't lock your own posts. Only mods and admins can. As for being deleted, we only delete really really bad threads. :P

No, we cannot delete/close topics that we make. However, we can create tickets and ask a UA to lock a topic for us.
