Can anyone help me find some treasure chest items for my pet Hotel Moscow ?

In a nut shell, Hotel Moscow's character centers around a (fictional) Russian mafia branch composed of Soviet veterans that had fought in the Soviet War in Afghanistan.

The only items I can think of off the top of my head are the Russian textbook, an Army Jacket and the Dog Tags from one of the costume trunks, but I have a feeling there's more that could be added...

Can anyone think of other items?

For the mafia part: (maybe some of the items in it?) Also a suit or fitting hat..?

Maybe snow or food that's popular there? There's no ethnic Russian food that I can think of, but maybe things that are popular there like cow tongue, pickles, potatoes, omelets, etc..

Nah. The Crime Boss Costume Trunk is more oriented with the Sicilian mafia. The Nosa Costra and Organizatsiya are as different as night and day.

However, now that you mention it, some sort of business suit would be quite fitting...
