Ok, I was at my former job for almost 3 years. It wasn't all that great of a job and was really low paying. I'm a EMT, so I found an EMT job with much better pay and respect. I got hired, so I left my old job. I got hired in the beginning of March and I needed to attend two orientations before I started. A classroom orientation and a field orientation after the classroom one. It took them a month to send me to the classroom, so I kept my old job until I could go to the field orientation. After waiting another month of my boss asking me almost every shift, "when are you going to give me your notice?", I was sent on my field orientation. My supervisor told me to call her after the the field orientation so we can discuss how I did and how I liked the job. That was 3 weeks ago. I've called her every day the past 3 weeks, left at least 10 messages asking her to return my phone call and nothing. I left my old job 4 weeks ago, and I really doubt my old boss will hire me back. So, I pretty much don't have a job and an income, and one of the main reasons I left my old job for this one was because I'm turning 21 in a little more than a month and all my friends are already over the age of 21, so we all want to start partying together. This is freaking ridiculous.

So CC, have you ever been screwed over by your job? If so, feel free to bitch about it

That sucks. :/ Perhaps try going and talking to them personally?

Anyhow, I haven't officially started working yet, so no. :x
