Okay, so.

Recently, I've been hearing/seeing things. A LOT. Like, I'll hear either extremely creepy music or voices. It's never the same, though. And then, I'll just see...I don't even know. Random stuff that's not there.

I ALWAYS hear voices calling my name, and I'll think it's my parents, so I respond, and then my parents are like, 'um...wtf? we didn't call you...o-o'.

IT'S STRESSING ME OUT. D8 Not to mention kind of scaring me. ...a lot.

And, of course, no one believes me. No one being my parents.

Any advice? X3 I have no idea what the hell this is. And, of course, my parents sure aren't helping any.

I hear and see random things at times too. At night I sometimes think I hear people talking really far away, or it sounds like a radio or TV is on or something. It's nothing too annoying and doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough for me to notice it. I also hear random sounds sometimes too... and I've seen this weird symbol a few times every now and then... and it's always the same thing. I saw it in a cave once, then I saw it at the movie theaters... but it's just weird. Maybe you're just really stressed out? I dunno... =/

I swear I've heard what sounded like my mom yelling my name, but she didn't.:/ That and even though it sounded like she was shouting it, it wasn't loud. IDK, It's nice to know I wasn't the only one though.:P

There are a few of possibilities here:

A) Your house is haunted. Try doing some research on the place, previous owners, etc. Just be careful. Don&;t whip out a Ouija board or try to communicate with anything, too dangerous. Opens doors.

B) You&;re haunted. Could be a family member or loved one, could be something that attached to you from somewhere else you lived or visited or walked through, or you could be creating it yourself and not knowing it - like is said to happen with some poltergeist activity. Or perhaps you&;ve used a Ouija board in the past.

C) You have some kind of psychological or neural disorder.

D) These things just echo sometimes, like when someone hears video game music and thinks they left their game on, but had just been playing it too much so it was vividly playing in their head. Happens to me a lot. Do you watch lots of horror movies or listen to creepy music or even -think- about creepy music? And do your parents call for you a lot? Teachers maybe?

E) It could be something in the house putting off a high electro-magnetic field (EMF) signature and causing hallucinations.

HAHAHAHAA what the FUCK. i bet you believe in chemtrails too, and that we never landed on the moon AND that 9/11 was orchestrated by the US givernment.

See a doctor. Either you have a very vivid imagination or you have some sort of disorder (most likely the second).

'You should be ashamed of yourself from bringing up this paranormal psychic bullshit. Instead of suggesting them to see a professional, someone who knows what theyre talking about.

@ topic poster, see a doctor. things like these have the potential to be very serious.

Sometimes I think we hear these things for a reason, so that we try harder for something that can work when we lose hope, or to remind us that something could happen for better or worse and we should be ready to act.. I dunno if it&;s psychic powers or God or deja vu or what..

I really don't know. A few times I've actually had what I guess you could call visions, but I have mine in my sleep, then they don't come true for weeks or longer... But I must say, that the thing with the lost cat is just amazing. Or, unless I read it wrong, you could just have hear that noise in your head? If it was a routine you may have just subconsciously made yourself hear it because you were so used to it.

Yeah, that&;s absolutely possible. I mean that happens with videogames all the time lol ^_^ It&;s just awfully coincidental though, considering it had been a couple months and I never heard that until the day before my aunt found that newspaper bit.

Wow... I really don't know. I guess it more then likely could be your subconscious telling you about the cat.:)

Are you sleep deprived..When I was I used to hallucinate all the time (I would have whole conversations with people who werent even home at the time)! Totally normal too if your only pulling 3-5 hours over an extended amount of time (like months)..

or did you have a head injury? I know I also heard and saw stuff that wasnt there when I got a concussion (and effects like that CAN last up to 6 months after the initial impact-called post concussive syndrome)

Also could it be medication side effects? Possibly? (I notice you didnt type if you take anything but I felt compelled to throw this idea in anyway just in case :) )

Good luck figuring this all out..

Actually, I did suggest them seeing a doctor and explained that it may NOT be paranormal. Are you really that eager to trash talk people that you&;ll not even read their posts?
I read your posts, and you mention a doctor twice. It just kind of get snowed under with the paranormal bullshit, makes it hard for people to take you seriously when you spend more time typing up about electromagnetic forcefields in the OP's posessed brain than you do typing about what neurological ailment she might be suffering from.

Well...that was rude. There&;s nothing wrong with believing in something, whatever it may be.
There is nothing wrong with believing in something, but when someone might be suffering from a serious medical condition, the last thing you should do is give unsubstantiated 'advice' about what kind of chants to sing and what gods to pray to.

Schizophrenia Not trying to scare you, but one of the primary symptoms of schizophrenia is auditory hallucinations. It develops at a younger age. Honestly, I'd see a doctor. No use running the risk of anything.

Go to your doctor if you honestly think it is that serious.

Hearing voices and seeing things are signs of Schizophrenia or another neurological disorder. Around the ages of 18-24, women are diagnosed with Schizophrenia.

If you are positively sure it isn't in your head, it could be paranormal. I've heard my name being called numerous times, but it's fine. Sometimes things like that happen.

Not everyone beleives the same thing, get over it.

I would see some specialists, of both types. If they're good and honest in their profession (good luck finding one) then should be able to tell you what it is not.

You could also have a tumor in the preception part of your brain O_o

Either way, I would see some people who are more in tune with these things.

Stijn may not believe the same thing as other users, but he is right. It could be something really serious, and she was thinking about paranormal stuff. The last thing I'd think of would be ghosts or such.

I don't think this has any thing to do with the fact that you used a Ouija board. Just see a doctor, get your head/brain checked, and if this doesn't fix a thing, you should look for a paranormal specialist.

A. Are you under stress? B. are you on a medication that is not one you are used to C. Depending on the things you are seeing or hearing, it could be haunting, or a mental thing.

I would seek medical advice... Even if it is not a mental thing, it can mean that you are sick physically, or even that you are just under too much stress or not eating right. There are annonamous numbers and places you can call. It is better to CHECK first, just to make sure. :3

The name calling? Always happens to me. Even when the house is empty. I tend to ignore it now but I still have that feeling of wanting to respond. I also see random things (such as a vase or a chair) in odd spots and when I look back, they're gone. Odd, but it's been happening to me for a while now.

Hope you find out what's going on :]

I used to see things and hear things, my parents just deemed me delusional. My story isn't very reassuring so... D: sorry. xD I think my experiences was just caused by stress and a lack of sleep.
