Hello every one of Subeta, being the manga reader I am, I was reading Denkou Sekka Boys A Yaoi, as in adult content, males, yada yada On Manga Fox, as I do, and learned that the Mangaka the writer Tohjoh Asami died, she was only 47, I, I, just really in a sad mode. I spent like 5 minutes eating one cookie like a mouse, then found out we are out of milk, still ate another one. I, I just need a hug, and maybe my other manga buddies on here have had a similar experience, or even have read some of this mangaka's work also.

Aww, that's really unfair! I've never read that manga, but I could try to understand how that feels. Like if I had a series I really loved, and the writer died, I'd really be upset. That's really unfortunate! :[ Sorry about it!

I also haven't read any of Tohjoh Asami's work that I know of, but this march Mia Ikumi, the mangaka of Tolyo Mew Mew (which I grew up on) also passed really young ;A;/ sending hugs bc mannn, this sux. We gotta take better care of our artists or somethin.

I've never read any of their work but feel the pain.... I am an AVID reader of Nana by Ai Yazawa. Like I have ShojoBeat magazines (now defunct) and the ShojoBeat editions of the manga, buying every copy when it was out. Watched the anime subbed on a fansite because it was said it'd NEVER come out in USA since her only previous work that did was Paradise Kiss and the claim was it didn't have a "strong" enough following. Well in any case when it came out in USA I spent $50 on each set ($200 because it was put into 4 parts).

Then between her becoming ill and that really really awful tsunami that happened (I don't remember the year but it was the one that disturbed an old nuclear waste site) she hasn't been able to update the story at all. And it's like at a critical heart breaking point of the story :( but also where the past and present begin to show themselves and I want more, even if it was a novel.or done with ghost art with her approval... I just want to know how it unfolds so badly. Of course I want her to be better because nobody should remain ill.

I've never read anything by them, I'm not much into Yaoi/manga like that. When Kentaro Miura passed away though I was completely heartbroken. I had only recently started reading Berserk when he passed and I stopped because I would get too sad when I picked it up again because it just reminded me of how much he meant to the fanbase and how inspiring his work is. I still haven't been able to bring myself to finish the volumes that I have at home.
