Do you believe it's possible to find your soulmate and not be 'destined' to be together, or something like that?

You know, just finding your soulmate, life partner, whatever you want to call it, and being automatically best friends, that kind of thing, inseparable, etc.

I was just pondering this. No real deepness here.

I think we have soulmates through our life, they come and they go, just as we come and we go in people's lives. Is it destiny ? I don't know.

I don't personally believe in it.

it's kind of cheesy but it's like... we're all pieces of a puzzle and there are some people out there we find who are the exact same piece as us. we don't fit but we're similar. and then are other pieces that will complete us.

and there are some people who got dropped in the wrong puzzle box and just don't belong at all. maybe we're all just trying to get back to the right puzzle box.

sort of only theres a .0001 chance of you actually meeting that person and you can be so focused on finding them that it could be your best friend and so you ignore them and their sad and so forth it is kinda cheesey but soul mates for my oppinnion isn't just one person but a whole bunch of people that impact your BFFEAEAEAEAEAEAFAE (best friend for ever and ever and ever and for all eternity) ^_^

Personally, I don't believe in "soulmates".

I dunno, basically I think 'soulmates' are just people that have a very very similar (or complementary) personality to your own - and therefore are likely to have similar (...or complimentary) interests.

But I don't think you're 'destined' to be together...it's just chance. But the likelihood it that there is probably someone with a very similar personality for every person on earth, simply because of the massive population lol. But you might never come across them.

I don't really believe in soulmates.. but if they exist, then I'm sure it's possible that you can be meet them and not be destined to be with them.

I'm also sure that a soulmate could be a really good friend or family member that you have that special type of bond, and that a soulmate doesn't necessarily have to be a lover.

But, being a cynic and all.. it's as hard for me to believe in soulmates as it is for me to believe in love at first sight. I'd like to believe in them, but then the logistical part of my brain reminds me that they're extremely improbable.
