Story Here

Also: More Info

This almost made me cry, when I found out what happened to all these whales. It's so rare that they wash ashore, especially in mass numbers like that. Whales washing ashore is a serious issue, because it means that something could be going wrong in our oceans.

Any thoughts on this?

This is horrible,

it just makes you really wonder about what could have made them do this, and if humans had a part in it, or was it just a freak accident,

Yeah, it does make me wonder what happened. One article I found said that it was possibly due to a miscalculation in navigation by the pack. My best guess would have been something related to feeding, but that's just a theory.

I rember reading about something like, the whales getting parasites that dig into their ears and it sets there navigationsystems off, sounds like something out of a science fiction movie ~

That's really sad... and scary I just hope it was something natural and not anything from people Yet people still don't stop messing up the oceans. We need to realize that even if one species is lost, the whole ecosystem can collapse and leave us without food.

That's so sad... I bet it had something to do with drag nets or pollution. This doesn't just happen.
