Sorry if this is in the wrong place. :C

Ok ive just installed Photoshop, not sure what versoin because it only says Photoshop at the top, and its acting just like it was Paint. The lines arn't smooth and lovly, can't create any other layers cant even change the colour. The only thing I did get from it is when I tried using the burn, dodge, smudge tool ect. it comes up with 'Could not use the .... tool because it does not work with Indexed colour images (Convert image to RGB colur mode to edit)' Can anyone help me?, ive got graphics work that need to be done by Friday. T^T

Oh. This problem is very fixable! Your image is just in Indexed color mode, like it tells you. Go to the top of your photoshop program and click 'image'. When the drop-down list comes up, mode should be at the top. Hover over that and then go down to RGB color. That should fix your problem!
