Don't have acne, but I get the occasional zit like everyone else. Right now I got a huge one on my chin, where I rarely get zits, and I just want it to go away wahh

(And don't suggest popping, if I could pop it I would!)

Don't touch it. I put ice on the non-headed ones for about 5 or 10 minutes.

If you touch it, you'll bother it and it'll keep getting bigger and uglier. I speak from past experiences. :[

If you leave it alone and wash your face more often, it should usually go away in about a week or so.

I usually just use oil-free products and wait for it to go away on it's own. For me that means it takes a 2-3 days. (for one zit. Acne takes longer of course) It could take longer on someone else though...

Worst case scenario, you could always use some cover-up. ;)

I just wash my face often, and I don't get as many zits as I used to. I do, however, have a bad habit of popping zits. Not a good idea...

Uh...I put Clearisil on them and they're gone in ,like, two days. But before I had Clearisil, I'd pop them and put cover-up on them. c:

I do wash my face at least once a day, but people still get zits, haha.

i hear putting toothpaste on it works to dry it out, but it's only the white kind with the paste consistency, i think. it wont work with a gel formula.

and only put it on the zit.

I sort of just.. wash my face, and pick at them. And it doesn't rly work very good. Lol.

EDIT: I tried toothpaste - all I got was a minty zit.

And I think that washing actually makes me break out more. But I don't want a dirty face, so I wash anyway.

Sometimes I use whatever kind of toothpaste I happen to have in my bathroom. I think any kind of toothpaste works for //my// skin.

Also use clean n clear pads. Clean n Clear works great for me. Used Clean n Clear before I put toothpaste on my face.

----any how---- Try using any type of face cleaning product. You never know what will work for your own skin type.

yeah I actually think the same thing Jest, lol. I'm like, maybe I should just walk around dirty and see if it helps, but that's gross so I wash my face anyway.

Witch hazel or rubbing alcohol. You could use a hot needle to clean it out than put the other stuff on it.

i have to recommend that new clearasil pimple pen or whatever it's called. i got a few pens from the company merchandiser for samples and i have to say they really work well.

use a gentle cleanser. Don't dry your skin out or it will get worse :x your skin will start producing more oil and hullo clog city. If you just really want to minimize appearance and swelling, ground up an aspirin and add a tiny droplet of water to make a paste. Add paste to zit. Let dry. Wash off.

Toothpaste is irritating for the skin :( no good, it'll get red and itchy.

I like either elizabeth arden 8h cream (but I don't get teenage zits just dryness-induced spots every once in a while), makes mine go away completely overnight. MAGIC. Or I just use benozyl peroxide. If you're not allergic to it or anything, try it out. Dries out really well.

You could try heating up a damp washcloth and putting it directly on the zit. It brings up the dirt and oil to the surface and, for me at least, gets rid of the little bugger much more quickly. Ice cubes work too.

See, I always pop mine if they get bad. My skin looks fine now. What I recommend if you've got really bad oily skin that is acne prone. Use rubbing alcohol. Yes, it drives out the skin, but it gets rid of the zits. If its unbearable, and huge. Put a dab of toothpaste on it tonight and sleep with it on there. By tomorrow morning you should be able to pop it. I used to use this all the time, now I never get zits that I can't get rid of so I'm set. I've never gotten red from the toothpaste, but I guess if redness occurs use some Visine, YES it does work on pimples too! Itching does happen, but you're gunna be sleeping with it so whatever.

I'm a pimple popper too. I don't care what people say, I cant stand when they are all white. I would suggest the pen thing or alcohol. It will dry out your skin like someone else said so only use it on the one pimple. Also you can try using a mud mask. You don't have to rub it all over your face, just on the pimple itself, like a little dot. Leave the mask on while you sleep and wash it off in the morning. It usually dries it out pretty fast.
