Name: Vic Colvaire Age: Appears in his early 20's, though he's not entirely sure how long he's been alive. Gender: Male Species: Shape shifter Looks: xXx
Personality: He is used to living on his own, but likes being around people. He is very patient, though if he does get ticked off, you'd better beware; he can get protective over people he's been around a lot, whether their friends or not; naturally curious and inquisitive.
History: He grew up like anyone else; times had been hard for a while, so they didn't have much, though they managed quite well compared to others. He was the first of three in his family to be given a shot that was supposed to help them survive. It was one of the many things on the market at the time that were being mass produced in an attempt to save the population.
After being given the injection, he fell into an induced coma, so that the doctors could do more tests. About a quarter the test group died, but when Vic awoke the doctors told him he would be able to cope with the changing environment easier. He has no idea how long he was in the coma, but things were very different when he was released.
Other: He has a tattoo on the back of his neck, displaying the logo of the lab he was sent to.

[| GASPO! Inu, not inviting me. PSHAW! I'm joining anyway, bb.(<<chatspeak, ooo. dare to kick me out? lol) Name: Squall Femon Age: 19 Gender: Female Species/Powers: The ability to control and manipulate a translucent spectrum that can be solid or light, and usually follows her right hand as a wisp of rainbow. Looks: She's short, just shy of 5 foot, though proportionate. She's thin, not quite slender. He skin is a light tan with a sprinkling of freckles over her cheeks and shoulders. Her hair is probably most startling of all, as the color is a bright, pearly white with rainbow tips. Whether she dyes it, she won't tell. It's long and wavy, reaching to her mid back and her bangs curling in just under her cheekbones. Her eyes are also an odd quality of her appearance, with her left a light lime green and the other a soft purple. Contacts? Who knows? Personality: She's quite the character, honestly. Squall is curious, full of wonder. Sometimes she appears a tad younger because she is marveled by even the simplest things, even though she understands it. She can be sweet and caring. She's stands up for what she wants and is extremely open minded. On the other hand, she can be stubborn, and sometimes (if really pissed) violent. And she knows how to fight. Squall often times does not know what she wants and on many topics, can be a little wishy washy. She likes arguing, just because she often wins. She can seem, at times a little clingy, because she doesn't like being lonely. Squall also can be a bit of a sore loser. Her personality, overall (despite her flaws), is upbeat and happy. Other: She is an artist and is quite wild, be prepared.
Oh, Inu, how predictable. Here's your stupid phrase: All my fears just fall away, when you are all I see. Lawl. :)|]
OoC: All my fears just fall away, when you are all I see, I will edit with the skelly.
Name: Ashley "Copy" Avers Age: 22 Gender: Female Species/Powers: Possesses the mutant ability to absorb psyches and abilities of individuals or several beings at once, though the experience can be confusing and disorienting for her. She can absorb the memories, knowledge, talents, personality, and physical abilities of another human being, through physical contact of her skin with the skin of that person. The victim's abilities and memories are absorbed for a one second to 60 second ratio of contact. The victim loses those abilities and memories for exactly the amount of time that she possesses them. In the case of individuals with more then one power, she also absorbs any extra abilities they might possess. This absorption usually leaves its victim weakened, and sometimes unconscious. Their powers may also be temporarily weakened or removed. She cannot touch another human being without absorbing their memories, abilities, and superhuman powers (if any) and rendering them unconscious. However, she is unable to control her powers. This transfer is usually temporary, lasting for a period of time relative to how long contact is maintained, but if she holds on to her victim for too long, the transfer may become permanent, leaving the victim nearly dead. Most often this process happens instantly when Ashley touches someone, but certain people have been known to survive. (Similar to Rouge powers, X-men) Looks: Copy Personality: The poor girl is scared of her own shadow. She is not scared of anything else but her. She was once a caring person, still is in ways, it’s just buried very deep. She is very protective, no matter what it is. She is more the type to think first act if you have to person. History: Ashley was normal once upon a time. Then the world started to get sick, people everywhere were sick. Her family, friends, and neighbors all got sick. Men came to the house one night, took her sister, two brothers, and her. They were taken to a facility were the where told they would be helping future generations. The next thing she remembered she was strapped down to a chair and they were injecting her with all kinds of things. They said that they were not bonding with her body, though she had no idea what any of that meant. Then out of nowhere she was outside.. A world she knew, but in a way had never seen. That was the first time she realized what she was. A innocent man walked by her and she grabbed his hand to ask him what was going on, she watched as he died, and she got al his memories, saw everything that happened in the three years they experimented on her. Now she hides from the world scared she will hurt anyone she runs into. Other: She is very skilled in survival, she has no idea were this came from. She also is very skilled in combat. She feels the only thing she can protect are the people she is not around, there for she stays away from them. She calls herself copy because the lab always called her experiment 2679, which in code is Copy. Every day she is trying to control her powers. She also can control her powers, eventually. (Will progress as the role play does)
{{ooc: Yes, I'm so predictable, Squall XD Not my fault, though, I just copy/pasted from the last thread...I was too lazy to make up something new. I guess we'll start when I get home from school tomorrow. ^^}}
'All my fears just fall away, when you are all I see'
Name: Jordy Rolhain
Age: looks to be in his late 20s
Gender: male
Powers: Unusually strong and quick, he regenerates from virtually all injuries, scarring fading over time.
Appearance: His sun bleached white blond hair is worn in thick dreadlocks pulled back from his face and woven throughout with beads made of ivory and shell. His hands show the wear of a childhood spent in hard toil and a lifetime of combat but surprisingly nimble and graceful despite the callus and scars.
Personality: Distant until he decides if he can trust. Once his loyalty is won it's not easily taken back. He's solemn and stoic for the most part.
{{ooc: Alright, I guess we can go ahead and start now. ^^}}
A small breeze drifted almost lazily between the barren city. Well, maybe 'city' wasn't the proper term. The remains of deserted buildings were scattered about, none of them inhabitable. Only a few groups of people--if they could be called that--still stayed in the once-great place. Any passerby could easily spot the inhabitants by the winding wisps of smoke that spiraled above the ruins. Fire was really the only thing that kept the creatures away.
The things that did survive the change had mutated beyond recognition. Their survival instinct had kicked in just in time, and driven them to the only places safe for living. After witnessing this, scientists mimicked the process and mass-produced the injection; thus producing the genetically altered race that barely inhabited Earth.
Near the edge of the city, a boy lay atop a brick wall. The wall encircled a patch of dry earth, with a fire pit in the center. The ashes still glowed, and smoke made its way up towards the sleet gray sky. The boy stirred slightly, then sat bolt upright, nearly falling off the wall. Staring into the fire a moment, he looked up to scrutinize the sky. He finally spotted the faint glow of the sun and decided it was just before midday. With a small sigh, he jumped down from the wall and checked the fire. Hopefully, it wouldn't start up while he was gone...but if it did, somebody else would just come over and use it. Gathering up his few things--a small pot, and a canteen--and stuffing them in a worn bag, Vic jumped over the brick wall and made his way into the woods.
The journey didn't take too long. Eventually, Vic found himself approaching a clearing. Many people were already gathered. Well, as close to people as it got these days. They were all different in some way. Some had odd-colored skin, wings, extra appendages, things of that nature. They were nervously conversing with each other, not exactly sure of what to do. A make-shift stage was set up in the center of the clearing, though no one stood on it just yet. Vic shifted his weight from foot to foot for a moment, then looked around to find a familiar face. Not that there was a good chance he'd find one.
OOC: May I just repeat my first post from the last RP? I have some writers block... I hate Writers Block... -_-;

(what season is it?)
Jordy shifted the weight of his backpack easily on his broad shoulders as he quietly approached the gathering. He could hear the low chatter of the crowd, conversing in that awkward way strangers did when flung together.
Stepping through from the woods, the handful of folk nearest to him stilled and watched him warily until he nodded and moved to a spot where he could easily see the stage. Rumor had it that something important was going to be dealt with today.
Before he settled down to wait, he made sure of at least three clear escape routes and memorized the positions of the local scenery. He'd been jumped before by shape shifters disguised as shrubbery, now he made it a point to keep from being attacked by mobile greenery.

{{ooc: Neko: I don't care if you use that one...I just used my original intro. XD Crow: There really isn't a distinguishable season, due to the fact that most everything is dead anyway, but we'll say its late summer, early fall. ^^ Sky: You may join.}}
Squall sat just outside the clearing,on a piece of a broken down...something, watching people leave and enter. She watched a young human...mutant? He had seven or eight arms; Squall couldn't tell because he was flailing them. For what reason? She had no clue. Her eyes crossed over the clearing to a werewolf pack. One left. Squall was dying just to pop in and introduce herself to everyone, but she held back. She wasn't sure what was going on in this clearing, whether these people (people?) were dangerous. She had come across it looking for small creatures to kill. Then eat. Gurgle Her stomach rumbled. A tremor could be felt underneath her top. Her top was black thick fabric wrapped around her body, appearing to be an almost corset, or tube top. Her shorts were high up her leg and made of almost the same thick, shiny fabric as her top, but in an electric blue. She jumped down from her perch, landing with a crouch on her old, ratty high top sneakers. She slowly walked towards the crowd, but not into it.
Rinalei slumped against a brick wall. [i[This sucks. Not only am I alone, I'm alone and cold.[/i] Lyrista thought. She wanted to run, or fly. Which ever one was faster. She hated living in that dreadful town. She wanted to just get away from it all. The dieing Humans, The faded buildings. She hated it. She wanted to get away, away from where she lived. She stood up. Her eyes turned a dark red, much like the color of blood. And jumped. Soon enough, she was floating in the air. She quickly flew above the city. She wanted to take a good look. She knew she was going away for a while, so she wanted to see what it looked like. But then it began to rain. Tiny droplets of water dropped on her and the people below her. ''Aww! Come ON!'' Rinalei yelled. The rain became harder. And harder. Hard enough, that it sent Rinalei down. She landed with a light thud. Her eyes turned back to their normal grey. She crawled over to the corner of the filthy alley from which she lived, and sobbed. The rain had came down harder, enough to where there was little floods here and there. Rinalei pulled her legs closer to her. She backed against the dirty conner, and layed her head on her knees. Her long, soft grey hair, was now a dreadful mess of wetness curls. She looked at other people, running pass the alley opening for protection from the rain. Some stared at her. Some pointed. Some offered her to go with them. She didn't say a word. Rinalei doesn't trust people. She trust nobody, human or not. She backed farther into the corner, until she couldn't anymore. The rain was pouring out harder than before, but Rinalei didn't care. She put her head down and cried.

The wind. How is tossed hair around. She hated it. Always kept her hair in a pony tail, she thought it best. but that didn't bother her right now, she was running, THAT she did love. She knew her way around the woods though. That's just who she was. Sometimes she ran so fast it felt like her black hiking boots were not touching the ground, but they were flying. She looked up as she ran, she could see that the sun was setting, she would need to find shelter soon. Just then she stopped. "What the heck?" She asked herself. "What.. Why?]" She couldn't believe what she was seeing. A group of people meeting in the woods! Suddenly she heard the thunder, and rain. "Great got to love the rain." She said in a soft whisper. She truly did not care for the rain. Since she lived "off the land" she had to deal with the rain all the time so she just left it alone. What she was really focused on was the group of people that where meeting in the woods. She had no idea why anyone would want to meet out here, in the city she could see. She would never go to the city though, not after everything that had happened. She gave a long drown out sigh, and looked away from the group. What she could do for them was make sure that the creatures would stay away... The only way to do that was to kill them, or fire. Personally she liked the second one more, but chances were she would end up having to kill like always. As she walked around the camps perimeter she watched the woods, she knew something was bound to come. She stopped at a near by tree and reached out and leaned against the tree. She watched as many different people were together. She smiled, hopefully somehow there race could survive after all.. She was surprised to see so many people though, then again to seeing just one was a good thing. She was an outcast never really had much conversation with people even before the accident and the testing. Suddenly, she felt it. There was no time to stop it, it just came, that's when she sneezed, quickly her hands were over her noise and cover the noise....
Rinalei looked up at Sky, and stared. Why is this man helping me? Rinalei thought. Then, he had asked what her name was. ''Ri-rina-lei'' Rinalei studdered, beacause she was cold. She hugged herself as Sky protected her from the rain, but that didn't help. Rinalei also noticed how Sky had a shield. That's uncommon to be carrying one around. Rinalei thought. She got up, and looked back at Sky. ''Really, you don't need to worry about me. I'm fine, really-'' Rinalei said, as she quickly caught herself before falling down. She was feeling dizzy, and sick to her stomach. She blinked a couple of times, trying to regain full connection to her body, until her knee's locked, and she fell down, breathing heavily. Rinalei murmmered under her breath, '' Not again, not again''....
