Errr...i adopted a pet from the pound a while ago and zapped her and have found a new person for her to live with...but i pounded her so they can adopt...but she is a comman pet in the pound...she is a nuclear pet though.

is that supposed to happen? is pounding then re-adopting the only way to send a pet? help? please?

YEah. It's still nuclear but just shows up as common. Nothing happened. c:

She isn't really common, it only appears that way.

I think the only colour that turns to common when pounded is hydrus.

Emily: Hydrus only turns back to common if you used Maleria to turn your pet. If you used the map piece, I think it's permanent.

The pet will still be Nuclear when it gets adopted; it just shows up as common on pound search. Hydrus are the only pets that actually turn common when abandoned.

Its MERANA, not MALERIA that turns pets Hydrus. And they WILL return to common color if abandoned. You use the map to get access to Merana.

Any pet, experiment included, shows up as common if you do a search in the pound for them. However, if you just browse the pound, looking at them, they show up the color they actually are.

Yeah. I had a hydrus pet and put it in the pound and it turned back to a common pet.
