I think your Reborn's okay. The fire probably burns off the nerve-endings pretty quickly. And the dead guy is, as you say, dead. But probably every once in awhile he has dreams that he's alive and they hurt a little, until he wakes up and remembers.

Maybe he is a masochist and enjoys the pain.

This has to be the most awesome topic I've seen on this board in a while! :D

Personally, I think that all the pets on Subeta are used to the way they are, whether they have bloody eyes or missing limbs or frostbite. So I guess that if they were in pain, they would have gotten used to it by now.
