Seeing as the last board was PMSing...

Well, you know why you’re here, so read on if you’re interested. Be warned, there’s a crapload of text.

It’s been ages since I was really interested in roleplaying, but I’m ready to get back on the horse and try it again now that my life is a bit more back in order.

To start out, let me tell you a little about myself so we don’t have to be shy.

I am Ariawyre, Evvy, or Kelsey, whichever one you prefer. Feel free to call me such, and if a new nickname is needed, go ahead and make one up (VonDork is not an option, however). My life isn’t 100% computer, so be warned that me being offline for two or three days is normal a few times a month. Like normal teenagers, I have school and I have a job, so please do not be alarmed if I am not on 24/7. Also, I’m starting exams and am attending a summer course. I enjoy reading and writing very much, and I adore movies and all the plots they contain. Trust me, ask me about most roleplay topics based on movies, and I’ll know about it. I’m a bit quirky, and really enjoy chatting. Feel free to talk to me in OoC, because I’d love to hear about your day and what’s going on in your world. I won’t bite. I pinky-swear.

Now, on to business!

I only roleplay over Email (unless you’re nice about asking via sMail), so please don’t ask me about anything else. If we do have a roleplay, I ask you do not add me to your MSN contacts without asking me first. It makes me furious when people go ahead and assume I won’t mind.

I don’t think I need to post ‘rules’, for lack of a better word (because I think we all have a basic idea of what I want), but I need to say this:

I am not what you call ‘advanced’ (in the sense I don’t write a novella per post), so please don’t contact me if you’re expecting me to be. I’m what you would call literate, and my posts are normally one-to-three paragraphs (real, honest paragraphs that are not one-liners) long on average. I will not spend any of that time talking about the colour and texture of a persons socks. Should you send me posts that makes my eyes bleed out of my skull, please don’t ask why I haven’t replied. I’m probably blind.

So, to be blunt, I don’t want to sit through a page that describes exactly what brand of toenail polish your character is wearing. However, long INTROS are fine with me, but again, let’s keep it reasonable. I have intros that can be 1-3 pages in length, depending on how many characters I’m playing, and if I have a plot to explain. So, bottom-line. I’’m here to roleplay, not to write a book with you.

I have several plot ideas if you ask me.

And just to make sure we’re on the same page...

I like characters to be realistic. This being said, most of my own characters tend to be much more normal. I am not afraid to have a character with addictions or who’s prone to violence. On the flip side, I also have characters who might come from business families, or who are spoiled, and others that are perfectly mundane. From the lowliest street-boy to the snobbiest wannabe, I play them all. When I hear the ‘beautiful blonde girl who everyone loves because her breasts are bigger than her head’ or the ‘depressed guy in black who’s going to off himself on Friday because no one loves him or his Bulgarian-meets-Mexican screamo band’, I stop reading right there, because I know where the roleplay’s going, and frankly, I don’t like it. Also...

I DOUBLE.

I ask you do the same. It’s not that I don’t mind playing male or female but most of my characters work in pairs, and I enjoy playing both genders, as well as having two different personalities to work with. I will not accept any of this ‘I only play female’ bullcrap, though I can be proded into playing a single gender if we have more than roleplay going on. But to be clear, slash is fine for anyone who's wondering. Both genders (I’m best at FxF), but this does not apply to all roleplays. It’s also not my strength, and not my biggest interest with the exception of a few genres.

I have no limits. I will respect yours if you let me know. If I step outside your comfort zone, please tell me so I can bake you muffins to make up for the mental damage I may have done.

And finally...

If you become uninterested, need a break, are going away, or want to switch things up, please tell me. I will do the same.

I’ll stop annoying you now and get onto what you probably came for.

I have been looking for a nice and long One x One roleplay and I believe I have found someone good enough to roleplay with. :] I'm really in the mood for a Harry Potter roleplay, but I don't really want to play canon characters. We can if you'd like to though. :] I'd also like to do an arranged marriage and I have a few good ideas for that one. Also, I'm not a big fan of roleplay through email, but I will do it if that's what you like. Hmm, I don't think I have anything else to say. Haha! So I'll let you decide if you'd like to roleplay with me. :]

I'd be more than happy to do a roleplay with you! Either Harry Potter (I'm not a major canon fan, either, save for the odd one here or there), or the arranged marriage.

My name is Vinny, and I am interested in rpin'!~ I suppose I should tell a bit about myself; I'm computer addict, and I'm always on the computer (unless I'm not) but don't expect you to be. Even though I'm always on the computer, it doesn't mean I'm always in the mood to roleplay. -lame- But I am literate in the sense that I form correct sentences and use grammar. As for length, I have a special rule; whatever you give me, I give you back. c: Meaning if you give me 3 paragraphs, that's great, I'll give you 3 paragraphs. If you give me 2 sentences, that's great, I'll give you 2 sentences, and if you give me a whole novel, that's great, because I'll give you one back. : D

I'm a musical geek, a mean and lean karate machine, and I like long walks on the beach.

While all of your topics seem tempting, I think (to narrow it down) I would rather do one of the two; Vampire Hunter x Fledgling or Mortal x Mythical Creature.
