I've turned in 6-8 apps and had 1 interview and haven't gotten a call back anywhere. I really don't want to work the fryer/pizza oven anywhere. :(

What do you do to make money? Or if you're unemployed (like myself ;)) what do you plan on doing?

if they don't call you back, call them back and ask if they've looked at your application yet and if they say yes, ask them when you can come in for an interview. :)

I was doing that when I lived in Seattle, but you can only do it like every 8 wks or so. It takes a while for your plasma to restore itself. I was thinking of donating my eggs, too, because I never want to have children. Plus, if you possess exceptional genetics and intelligence, you can ask upwards to 50k. I was reading an article about it! I also read Vice magazine online about this girl who sells used socks / underwear and waste like toenail clippings and used tampons (UGH!!) to people on the internet. Isn't that grosssss :P I'm the queen of non-job-jobs, but I just started investing in stocks recently. The only downside to this is that you need about 10k to start--it's probably the fastest and easiest way to make money though. I can easily make 400$ every morning, then do whatever I want the rest of the day.

I've thought about stocks, but it isn't my thing. I've known people who get way stressed out and completely scare the shit out of me when something goes wrong with theirs. But my friend's grandparents are millionaires from it, they just haven't decided to pull out yet. :o

I sell orgami star bracelets and lollipops i make myself at school. I make alot. Im going to make a necklace soon. Hope it sells....

donators: yes, it's painful, yes, you'll have to go through with psychological evaluations and shit, blah blah, but it won't make you sterile :P

We do produce eggs more than once, and it will mean the world to someone who really wants to have children but can't. If you're up to it I must say go for it :D

I work, self-employed, make good money doing other's dirty dull work basically. Very dry and academic (I edit and transcribe research interviews and shit like that) but it pays the bills and I can do as I want.

If you're thinking of starting your own business, make sure you have contacts and possible clients before starting off. If you're good at what you do (and there aren't that many competitors) you network will expand. I have loads too much work for me to handle :P turns out university people are really lazy when it comes down to the actual labour of producing results... So if you have contacts in academic circles, ask around. There's always -something-.

Right now I'm mooching off of government funding but that'll end soon.

I plan on working as a CNA. My mother is a high-ranked RN (DNS/DON) so I was hoping to get employed with her at the building she's working in. Obviously she won't be my employer though.
