Long story short my mother and I had a yard sale this week. We used to own a bookstore so ALOT of the stuff we sold was books. By the end of the day it seemed like we were putting away more stuff then we put out.

We didn't sell any of the furniture or hardly any of the clothes! I suffered horribly from heat exhaustion and was promptly thrown in the shower by my boyfriend.

By the end of the day we counted out $800 and we have no clue what we sold.

We used to have yardsales every year, this was the first in 3 years for us.

$800 is our record, anyone else make some nice cash from having a yardsale?

My mom and aunt had one last year and made like over 500 bucks, I think. It was a nice chunk of change.

I so would have had fun at your yard sale. xD I'm always looking for books, so that would have been wonderful. :3

The last time we had a sale was last Fall. I think we probably made about $200 on the stuff we had out. Which is surprising seeing as most of it was girly pink stuff my sister and I had when we were younger. xD
