Okay so I want to get a new phone. I've decided on the EnV3, EnV touch, and maybe the Motorola Rival (when it comes out June 10th) or Samsung Alias 2.

About Me and My Phones:

I text...alot. I don't have a qwerty phone right now, but I want to change that.

I'm not the big a fan of touch screens even though they're pretty sweet. They glyde my mom has just gets on my nerves with it's stinky touch screen that doesn't do anything. Though the EnV touch is a touch phone it isn't completely so I don't think it's a big deal because then I get the two sides.

I like to customize my phone on the inside as much as I can. This includes text fonts to be changeable, lots of different ring tones preloaded, and preloaded animations would be nice.

I don't use email or mobile IM so I don't really care about that. The mobile web is pretty cool, but I won't use that much either.

One more thing I've fallen in love with samsung phones for their musical keyboard and even though the Alias 2 is pretty awesome I don't think it's the phone for me. I feel that it's a little bulky and a little big, well fat.

I'm only verizon so please don't suggest phones out of their plan though I wish I could get a stinkin at&t phone.

So thanks for helping me out.

If this is in the wrong place I apologize. I didn't know where else to put it.

If you like other phones, look for unlocked ones. Or, buy the phone, then send it to get unlocked. They unlock the phone to use with any service out there, which is great. They cost a bit more, but it's definitely worth it.

If you're into that, DEFINITELY look at the HTC Tilt. It's a touch screen, but you use a pen instead of fingers and it works amazingly. It's a great phone. The other HTC phones aren't touch screen and are also REALLY nice. It's a two-way slider: up for numbers and across for the QWERTY keyboard. I DEFINITELY suggest looking for an unlocked HTC since you text a lot.

BUT: if you're looking at just those three phones, I'd suggest the Rival. It's a really nice looking phone with the functions you seem to want. I'm not a fan of the EnV, unfortunately, which is why my opinion may be biased. ^^ regardless, good luck!

Thank you. I haven't really considered unlocked phones, but I don't think I'd be willing to pay about $500 for a phone.

Don't get Motorola, I used to love them but they all always broke after about 8 months. Very annoying as I was on contract for 18 months!

Thanks for the advice! ^-^ I appreciate it. Anyway unless I suddenly love that one, I don't think I will get it.
