So, the other day, we were cleaning out our basement and I found a really old suitcase and I asked my mom about and and she told me that it belonged to her father, my grandfather. Let me explain, my grandfather passed away a few years before I was born. He was an amazing man. His family was off the boat from Poland in the early 1900s, he was a minor league baseball player and traveled around with the New York Yankees and drank several times with Babe Ruth, and he even had quite a few pictures of them taken together at the bars they drank together. My mom has them all locked away in a fireproof box. Anway, he enlisted in the US Navy and was in Pearl Harbor the day of the attack and survived. Afterwards, while he was in the Pacific, every letter he sent his sweetheart, my grandmother, were beautiful silk scarves. They were in this old suitcase, all the beautiful silk scarves. They are from the early 1940s and every single one of them look brand new and are in excellent condition.
So CC, have you recently found something that blew your mind away?
