i loved the movie so did my friend and my other friend i was really happy wit it i watched it twice in 2 days
I agree 100%. The only reason why that movie was even popular was because everyone loved the book and got absorbed into liking it so much that when they watch the movie they love it even if the acting sucks.
I didn't like it. I know they only have two hours to cover everything, but I found everything to be very truncated. And, I thought the acting (by the two leads) was very wooden.
I pity you. I truly do. As for my opinion, KStew was robotic and visually she fit Bella, but as an actress she pretty much sucked hardcore. RPatz did not, by any stretch of the imagination, appear as Edward did in my mind. The undead was described as practically godly. Now, I ask you, why would a god never pluck his eyebrows or brush his hair? Frankly, I am amused by how hyped up some of the female population is over a guy who looks like a neanderthal (imo), practically stalks Bella and even watches her sleep. Creepy much? Sounds like he beginnings of a serial killer to me. I digress. The books were somewhat bearable, yet the movie was horribly fake and I'd go so far as to say overdone, though that's a stretch at best.
If that is the case, why did you buy it in the first place? Seems like a waste of money if you ask me.
I really enjoyed how awkward that movie was. I liked the part that went... sex, money, sex, money, cat. I liked the part where Edward got out of the car looking all cool with his sunglasses even though it was overcast. I liked the baseball game and Alice's weird pitching style (I mean, who pitches like that?). I liked how when James, Laurent, and Victoria walked out of the forest and faced off with the Cullens, they looked like LARPers. I liked the part where Bella was in the car and Edward climbed through the window. I liked Edward's face when he was sucking the blood out of Bella's hand... he looked deranged. I like how everyone in the theatre oohed and aahhed when they showed the sign that says "Forks High School," even though we all live just a few hours' drive away from Forks. Seriously, it's not that cool in real life.
She was and is a very dull actor. But about the movie, I thought it was alright.
Questing Elegant Oriental Wig! :B
Argh, Twilight. The circumstances that made me watch that god-awful movie were incredibly unfavorable if I didn't. God, what a terribly bland movie. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but don't human vampires drink human blood? And ... animal.... vampires drink animal blood? Frickin' get a life Twilight.
That being said, I can understand why teenage girls like it. I am the exacT age group and gender Twilight was made for, and let me tell you, I still hated it. Still suppose someone's got to love Mary and Gary-Sues.
