So I heard that you can't choose what you get from the Donation Presents but you can choose what you get from the 2009 collections. Is this true? Also do you get multiple items from opening DP or a collection or is it just one?

Anything of the ones that are named Donation Presents come with two random DP items for that month. The ones from January 2009 and on are named Collections now, and it only comes with one item, but you get to choose which one you want.
