I just thought I'd pop over to my Neopets account, which I really haven't even accessed for the better part of 2 years, and it was honestly scary. The layout, the confusion. It was just..ugh.

After remembering the horrid mess that made me leave there in the first place, I felt the need to come here and say just how much I love you Subeta. :) You're one of a kind and I'm so glad I found you when I did. ❤

I have to agree, after playing subeta for a long time and then going back... D: those ads made my mind explode or something. I used to be a huge fan of neopets, but haven't played it in a long time. I go back every now and then to check if my account is save - I do want to keep it for a strange reason - and I always find the site different from what it used to be.

But a lot of people on this site still play neopets and subeta :3 so even though they love subeta, they also love neopets 8D

Your post inspired me to go back and check my Neo account. The new layout is utterly tasteless. The three things I like best about Subeta certainly don't apply to Neopets - the community, the friendly staff and the gorgeous items, particularly the HA system.

I just went to the forums, too.

Sighh. I left Neopets because they kept freezing my accounts, and through no fault of my own. Overall I think I got 5 warnings, 18 suspension, and three accounts frozen.

For God's sake, they suspended me for posting photos of myself on there. Which I've NEVER even had the SLIGHTEST interest in doing. It was all crap like that. Almost like they had a personal grudge against me grumbles

And they blocked apostrophes periodically. APOSTROPHES! Overkill much?! And the layout was effing horrible. Sighhh.

Okay. I'm done ranting now. But I love Subeta's guts. Eeeeee.

I only go to Neo when I'm bored. I check my inbox to see if anyone has tried to contact me, and I like going to the Newbie boards and poking fun at everyone who still actually plays the game [x

I love subeta's guts too. But I do wish I could get back on my old neopets account, for old times sake. I forgot the password long ago... is sad I loved my pets with a passion and the whole neopets thing was huge for me. My account has been around for 6 years on there.

But subeta does pretty much kick kung-fu butt. Please don't change it Keith!!

hehe, i must agree. neo is SO confusing now. i went there a couple days ago, just to look, i left in like, 3 seconds. xDD

Well I had first joined neopets when it was just 2 or 3 days old and have since had probably had 12 accounts frozen (for ridiculous reasons) and my most recent one I changed the password to (cuz I thought someone was accessing my account) well, I forgot what I changed it to and have no idea what email it is assigned to. I had filled out their form and gave them boatloads of info only I would know and then 3 months later they sent me an email saying unless I remembered my password I was not going to be able to ever get back into my account. So, now I only go there on my mom's account when I am bored and in the mood to play a game, which doesn't happen often. So, yeah subeta is the love of my life!

Completely agreed! I tried giving neo a chance a couple of months back but its just.. eugh... hideous. The one thing that frustrates me even more than the horribly confusing layout is the 99% chatspeak on the forums and the way they warn (or freeze) you, don't tell you why and refuse to reply to your messages and emails asking them why. Seriously, they need friendlier staff...

Eugh and they have that rubbish pet dressup thing now, just another way for them to make money. Their cash shop is dreadful too, its so expensive and the items aren't even that great (unlike our wonderful subeta lovelovelovelove)

(On the bright side their games DO keep me entertained for a long time.)

I was a neopets player as well. To be honest, I totally love this place. I feel like I am not so afraid of being iced here. I can be me, make friends and do what I want and have fun at the same time.

I love how I was looking up random lookups on Neo and found someone saying, "My username on Subeta is [insert username here; I don't remember it]." I googled Subeta and I was hooked on that day. :D

I admit that I still occasionally visit Neo, but only to play a few games if I'm really bored and zap my pets to see if I get anything good. :)

I really agree. Subeta is better than Neopets in many ways. I am also still a Neo player, but don't on often anymore even though I still love my pets there. But here it is much easier for me to get coloured pets because I have only been a member for about 5-6 days now and I already have all of my pets coloured. My pets have great names as well! I love Subeta! =D

I agree so much. D8 Subeta is just... wow. It's a site that actually keeps me hooked after the first few days, for one thing. Neo did that, but that was waaaay back when. Now Neo's just... ugh.

I love Subeta's art so much. -squee- It actually looks like ART and not some kids' cartoon that tries to teach you how to spell 'dog'. ._.

ALSO. GUESS WHAT. IT'S ACTUALLY POSSIBLE TO MAKE MONEY ON SUBETA. 8DDDDD

And it goes without saying that the pets are waaaay better. The only one of my Neopets I kinda miss is my Hissi. And that's only because Hissies are the only Neopet that had an gram of the epicness of Subeta.

So, yeah. Subeta FTW!
