What could be making such a strange glow? Caddo had never seen anything like it before. True he never explored much so he wouldn't really have anything to compare it to. He was more of a lounger; he could usually be found just floating on the lake surface, watching the clouds scudding idly by.
As he got closer to the source, he heard the sound of voices. His eyes narrowed as he strained to hear what they were saying. It sounded like there were two: one female, one male. But their words were indistinguishable among the echoes; hopefully they would be friendly.
Without warning, scorching hot pebbles bombarded him from nowhere accompanying a crazed shout. Ducking, he threw his water coat out before him, forming a shield. There was just enough to slow the missiles down and steal a little of their heat but they still felt unbearably painful. Opening one eye he managed to glimpse two dragons through the wavy sheet of his shield before light filled the hall, partially blinding him. It was too much; he couldn't take it anymore!
"Stop! Stop!"

Gwen listened to the ramblings of Arryn. Clearly this dragon was crazy. Apparently a response didn't always mean good. She watched the dragon crouch and she instantly took a step back. "I have no intentions to die. Relax because I have no intentions of fighting either..." She hissed between clenched jaws. A voice had put them here. Oh great. Just what she needed to know.
Despite her words she gathered energy within her, clearly ready to defend herself if the crazy beast became hostile. She shifted into a more ready stance. "Do you know who this voice belongs to?" She asked deciding to play along with the dragon's 'information'.
(Yay it's slightly more alive! I've actually been gone since last Wednesday. Sorry I didn't say anything.)
The crazed dragon's gaze flicked suddenly back to focus on Gwen, her pupils narrowing to slits as if this were the first time she'd even noticed the other dragon's presence. Arryn hissed uncomfortably, her muscles quivering.
"The coward has yet to show himself," she replied. Her back arched slightly as she took a step backwards, head raised and turned slightly to the side. If she concentrated, she was sure she could hear shouts off in the distance. But those were probably just other imaginary voices, ones only she could hear.
Arryn suddenly focused one eye on Gwen, her claws scratching at the floor. "You... you don't believe me. I can tell, you think I'm crazy. I'm not crazy!" A shudder passed through her frail body, and without warning, the dragon lunged at Gwen, fangs and claws bared for attack.

((I'm not dead! I swear! Though I admit I've never gone this long without posting in an rp.... Anyways! I will get a post going as soon as It wil lfit in right with you guys, so feel free to continue without me. I just might make a re-make to try and lure in some more people though... But once again If I do do that, it won't be mid-way through your conversation or something annoying like that))
ooc; It's all cool, Ghosty. ^^ I'm mainly waiting on Kai to post, so...

Caddo cowered behind his makeshift shield, unaware that his desperate cry had been heeded. He had a fleeting thought that perhaps the frozen/charred Water dragon had come back to life, seeking vengeance for the water he had taken.
At the sound of falling stones he crouched closer to the ground, trying to offer a smaller target, thinking that his assailant was renewing their bombardment of heat-imbued rocks. He tensed, expecting searing pain. Instead, he heard a voice, the same voice that had shouted at him though this time it was more tentative.
"...Has the Darkness thrown you down here, too?"
Amber eyes opened slowly in confusion.
"Wh-What? I...I don't...Darkness?"
He paused, thinking that this was some sort of test: one that, if he answered incorrectly, would mean the end of his life. His eyes wandered wildly about before focusing once more on his attacker.
"Yes!" he blurted out, hoping that this was the right answer.
((My apologies. I got a bit fed up with writing due to my AP tests.))

((Mkay... just to keep posting here... (I'm so horrified at myself for not posting on my own rp in so long... D= ))
Throughout the labarynth, signs of life showed here and there.. fleeting shapes and sounds, signs of others who had been thrown into the labaryth for Vihal's own ends.
There were a few clearly undraconic.
Down one hallway, something furred was shedding, leaving tufts of light blue fur everywhere. Somewhat wolf-like, the beast had thick fur that seemed meant for some colder climate and it was coming out in clumps, creating a very scruffy appearance. The long, muscular tail ended in a set of spikes, the last two long and webbed to create a fin. A similar line of webbing stretched from the beast's "wrist" on the front legs, to it's "elbows". It was rather preoccupied with scrating at the itchy fur with a hind leg and wasn't paying attention to much else.
Somewhere further away, distant sounds and echoes from other passages, fights and screams and unnaral shrieks.... Rather typical, and expected, but still bone-chilling. Luckily they were distant and unclear... For the most part.
(( For those who keep checking and finding nothing, here, this might distract you for a while. If you're new, you can catch up on the history of this roleplay. If you're one of the oldies, it's always good to go back and read up on fun times :3
Note: some of it may not make sense as a couple of people have had their posts erased as they're no longer here. But I'm pretty sure you'll get the gist.
And, oy. I didn't realize I had so many typos ;>> ))

ooc; Do you think you might remake it, Ghosty? I really liked the plot; maybe it'll do a little better if we get people who will actually stick with it. =/

I might some other time. I'm brainstorming some other rps too. I admit this one wasn't well thought out anyways, so it probably would have failed at some point or another...
