I'm so clueless, sorry. Can you pound or delete pets?

Select Pets on the left. Then click the Pet you want to get rid of. You'll see the option 'Abandon pet'. Click it and you'll be asked again. Just select Yes. But it costs 3000 sP to abandon a Pet.
