[edit] lul, after reading all the stories online about how indoor cats let outside will freak out and hide from their owners, I was quite surprised when I heard a mewing downstairs, to meet my sweet Bobby and my dad, who informed me that Bob happened to be scratching on the window and ran right inside when my dad opened the door. 8D You can read my angry rant if you still want to;;
He's an indoor cat. He wants to be an outdoor cat, sure he does. He loves hanging out in the garage. It's as close to freedom as it seems he will get.
Now, I can't remember at all. Did he happen to be in the garage when we left it open to bring garbage out, and then became sidetracked and left the door open for three hours?
I don't know. Maybe. Because he's not freaking anywhere. He has no freaking collar, because he's an indoor cat - why give an indoor cat a collar if he's not going to freaking go anywhere?
I dislike having to handle a supposedly missing cat at 2 AM. But, due to my summer insomnia, I have nothing else to do. So I guess this is an opportunity for something worthwhile. ...but I can't do anything. It's 2 AM, man. The neighbors will reeeally appreciate me if I hold out a search party for a freaking cat.
Aw well ~ my dad says, he'll come back when he wants to... so I guess that means if he never comes back, he's dead or he reeeally didn't like us.
luls help you gais ~ tell me some stories about your petties. Tell me how they run away and then they come back and everything's happy... or the complete opposite... :/ really, I srsly love this cat ~ he's the first pet kitty I ever had...
Oh my God I'm so sorry ;~;
I can't imagine if my poor Jixi-poo went missing O-O
I'd like, call the Amber alert system.
"We have a child missing, who's.... 3, uhm... black.... a foot or so tall and... really fat. She was last seen in her... CAT BED?! WTF DUDES. F THIS. runs off of set"
Yeah well, I guess I'm just happy she's here c:
And I like your HA btw. C:
luls. I'd like to do that, but my dad would be all, "duhhh, that's not necessary dear~" BUT OF COURSE IT IS. >_> And I can't tell my mom. Even though she hates the little dude, she'd bee yelling and cursing all, "holy s, I cleaning the litter box for NOTHING?"
uhh. yeah. And thanks :>
I'm glad you got him back.
My sister has an indoor cat, and he dreams about being an outdoor cat, but when you open the door he's to scared to go outside. :3
My indoor/outdoor cats have left for periods as long as two days and then returned.
Tomo actually wanders the neighborhood. It's scary because I worry about him. He goes out on his own. He's actually out somewhere right now, but he wears a harness with an ID tag and has a microchip.
The only thing to do is wait for them to come back. Just keep checking the doors. You can also put out some canned cat food. It has a strong scent and may draw your cat back. Or just call for him. He might return if he hears your voice.
Cats are smart. I don't think they get lost very easily.
Oh! Haha. Tomo just came in and I took his harness off for the night. (:
