i usually post in the shout box. i go to forums during events and such, but just to find different ppl. seems like all the same ones post in the SB

Thats because it doesn't work for everyone or at least it didn't used to. Thats why I never use it. I couldn't get it to work when I first came to Subeta. Did you see that post that Keith put into the Achievements section about suggestion about Achievements? It makes me wonder if there will ever be a SB achievement for talking in there.
