I am soooooo confused.
I COULD LIVE IN THE DARK WITH IMAGES DANCING ON THE SCREEN! WHO NEEDS POPCORN WITH A TRANSFUSION OF DRAMA

Well, costume trunks come from Mysterious Costume Trunks which can be purchased from the Cash Shop or from user shops. Once you open a Mysterious Costume Trunk you can choose one of the available costume trunks inside, and after you choose a trunk the Mysterious Costume Trunk in your inventory will be replaced with the chosen trunk. You can open the costume trunk for a set of wearables inside, or you can sell it if you wish. The set of wearables inside can only come from the costume trunk and not from the main shops or anything, but you can also purchase separate items of clothing from them in user shops.
But they are all changed now and some are gone ,so is there any way now to tell what you are going to get ?

After so long the costumes retire. Theres still plenty in there. And Keith has said, things dont stay retired forever
if you look in the useful threads of the human avatars forums there's a costume trunk thread.
As someone has said above, the site: subetahq is very helpful. It will tell you which costume trunks are retired, and it will show you all of the items that come with each of the available CTs, and I believe it even has a place where you can see how the items look on the HA, although I may be getting that part confused with the place on hq where you can look at the possible items in the monthly donation gift boxes. :P
