So they thar. I'm Momo, and you can call me Momo, or if you want to be vanilla, then just call me Apathetic or Spirit. Enough formalities, I'll get this started.

Plot

Now, this will be as cliche as it gets, but there's not much I can do about that. This is basically a war roleplay between two rival wolf clans.

The two clans, Ryusei and Dedai, were once at peace. But because of the selfish views of a rebellious adolescent, turmoil has erupted. See, the wolf went on a journey through each packland in search of a mystical artifact called the Harmonious Scepter.

When he found it, he took it. With intent to rule both packs and possibly create some more, he hadn't realized that the artifact knew how he planned to go about this. He was killed by a beam of energy and the Scepter hid itself.

Discovering the disappearance of the scepter sent the packs into a wild frenzy. Not only was the harmony of the lands disturbed, but they didn't know who did it. So naturally, they blamed each other.

And thus, war over the Harmonious scepter blazed. Food began to dwindle, land began to die.

Can they find the scepter and return it to it's rightful place in the forest, or will the lands be reduced to rubble before it can be found?

Setting

A large forest. The packs are divided by scent markings, and special ticks on trees. So they know if someone has marked on their territory and everything. At the edge of the forest is the Makeo shrine, where the Harmonious Scepter is supposed to be.

It is late spring, when the hunts should be bountiful. There's a pretty large breeze going through the forest. It's midday.

Clans / Packs

I don't care what you call them, but there are two packs of wolves. There is no significant difference between packs, other than alphas and normal wolf pack differences.

Ryusei Dedai

Remember that they used to be very peaceful, but because of the wolf that DIED, they blame the disappearance on EACH OTHER. That means that you can have lovers in different packs and stuff, but there's a lot of tension going on.

Yes, it's a war, but that does NOT mean that you have to tear out the throat of another right away. Unless your character is THAT protective of his land. Which I would understand.

It has three wings of black and ends in pale blue. Around his ankles are black markings, and he has really big paws. Name: Zethic Age: 4 Gender: Female Looks: Here Powers: Her hearing is incredibly strong, enabling her to hear things a mile away. However, this is also a weakness, as she's sensitive to loud noises; if, for instance, someone barked loudly in her ear, it would be enough to incapacitate her long enough to kill her. She is also very swift--perhaps not unnaturally so, but faster than most wolves in the pack. She can leap high and far, like a deer--because of this, some nicknamed her "Doe." Pack: Ryusei Rank: Omega History: Zethic's hearing developed early on. She was listening to the other wolves' conversations before she was two weeks old. Because of this, she learned to talk faster than her only littermate, her brother. Many admired her charm, and the antlers between her ears were an adorable touch to her innocent demeanor that she maintained as a pup. However, she was weak. Her speed somewhat allowed her to defend herself, but it wasn't enough to advance in the ranks, to earn anything special. Her hearing was a blessing, but more so, it was a curse. Her brother, on the other hand, was much stronger and as well-liked as she. He possessed increased strength and speed and quickly advanced to the status of a Beta. He was a strong warrior and a fierce protector. She, meanwhile, descended to Omega, unable to fight her way into a higher status. Her charm quickly vanished, to be replaced by bitterness and jealousy towards her brother. And to be honest, she couldn't be blamed for this jealousy: her brother acted as though she didn't exist, delighting in his own success and forgetting all about his poor sister. As expected of wolves like her brother, it wasn't long before he found a suitable mate. Zethic would watch them interact, and they would snuggle each other like they were alone in the world. She didn't realize that the two had truly fallen in love; she just assumed that they were acting on their instinct to reproduce. Because of this ignorance, because of her blinding jealousy, her brother met his downfall. His love was killed during a thunderstorm. While out hunting, a bolt of lightning struck a tree nearby, which fell on her and killed her almost immediately. Her brother, who was busy on patrol, hadn't received the news. She ran off to find him, her envy of him forming evil thoughts in her mind. She found him and told him--rather harshly--that his mate had been murdered by a Dedai hunter. She had expected her brother to get upset, to be driven into a rage. She had wanted to see that--for some reason, it was satisfying to her. She had convinced herself that he would return, ill-tempered, and learn the truth from the other pack members. But she was wrong. Her brother, furious and suddenly bloodthirsty, ran from her at once. According to a Dedai wolf, he had run into the camp, snarling and demanding to face his mate's killer. They didn't know what he was talking about; so, even more angry, he had lunged for a Beta's throat. Obviously, the Dedai wolves couldn't stand by and let their comrade be slaughtered, and they killed Zethic's brother. Whether she felt guilty for it or not, nobody knows. She didn't tell the rest of the pack, and as far as she can tell, none of them figured it out. They assumed it was because of grief that she became almost unbearable to be around. She kept her position of Omega the last several years, still unable to find anyone weaker than herself. Other: Her sensitive hearing makes it difficult for her to sleep, so she's often plagued by exhaustion and, sometimes, hallucinations. Her lack of sleep, however, won't lead to fatality.

Name: Aithne Age: 1 year Gender: Female Looks: Reddish 'cape' over a yellowy underbelly and legs. Her eyes are a piercing blue color that didn't fade as she got over. Her tail has a white tip on it, and she has a white stripe down her forehead. Powers: Healing abilities; however, they drain her of energy somewhat. Pack: Dedai Rank: Healer History: She has been with the pack ever since she was a pup. When she was still young her healing ability became apparent; all the other pups were covered with scrapes and bruises, while she had none. Other: Compassionate and caring towards others, doesn't believe that war is the right option for the packs.

Haruka stood outside waiting for Rune to come home. As soon as he was in sight, She ran to him and gave him a quick kiss on his furry cheek. "Welcome home, Rune-senpai." She said looking at him happily. "I missed you." She carefully nudged him into their shelter and then went inside. They were together for a little bit but she knew that they both loved each other. "The scout we sent out is currently a few miles away from the Ryusei but he's still alive, thankfully."
