I've had a stressful week... so I played some OLDSKOOL Gamecube Animal Crossing today and I wanted to draw something.

I'd love some help or advice with anatomy and pose and whatnot. :D [ if possible, please don't nitpick, this was just a fun piece. :c ]

Redlines would be great!

But yeah, poses and fullbody pictures kill me, so I need a lot of help getting better. ❤ Any other comments, positive or negative, are appreciated!

aww, cute! i love animal crossing :D which cat is it? judging by the eyes, i'd think it was bob. but maybe it's no one in particular.

anyway, i'm afraid i can't do redlines, as i lack a tablet at the moment. :c i don't think i'd really need to add some, though, since the picture looks pretty correct as it is.

her pose sort of bothers me - the way her left leg is drawn would likely cause her to lose her balance and kinda..topple over, lol. i know i can't hold myself up like that without putting a lot of pressure on my arms. i would say to either redraw her left leg so it's straighter or tighten her grip, but the latter would make her look less relaxed.

her feet are a little small, too, but that's not much of a problem.

Ohohoh. The only crit I have is that the foot is too teeny. XD According to Rick!:

anyway, in regards to the drawing: Something about the legs bother me. For one thing, the feet are quite small (same with the hands, now that I think about it.) The perspective is also a little off, but I'm not a perspective expert myself so I can't say exactly why. The pose is a little stiff and I'm not sure if she's supposed to be sitting against the wall or leaning against it, but either way, it kind of looks like she's about to fall over! I also believe her breasts are a weensy bit too low.

(Argh, that isn't nitpicking, is it? :( I'm sorry I don't want to bring you down!)

Other than that though, it's so cute. I love the way you draw faces, it's so regal.

hnrgh maybe when I get home from work I will do a redline or something! (if I am not playing animal crossing...)

I'd say the forearm is not long enough compared to the upper part, as well as the feet, are a tad small. otherwise, uber cute! squishes

I hate poses, I think I'd probably have to actually try this to see if it's doable. xD But it's kind of like sitting on the edge of the wall, I do that sometimes... Anyway, redlines to make it feel more comfortable would be amazing, since I really don't know how to fix it myself. :c

I agree about the too-small hands and feet.

And I shall try to fix the ear and forearms. Ickk, I can see the problems way better after a day of not looking at this sketch. Thanks so much, guys! ❤

I fail at anatomy myself, but BOB OH BOB. I love Animal Crossing, hoho. Personally, I think the leg with the foot on the wall looks pushed over a bit too far? And bent a bit too much. It looks SOGOOD, though.

I loev it so much, don't play Animal Crossing so I don't know who this is, but i love her saucy attitude!!!

The feet were too small, yes, but the legs were much too short for her torso. The thigh of the one on the right(our right) was correct-looking, so i used that as a measurement for the other leg. The upper and lower leg should be the same length. I also changed the arm a bit, the wrist was really really tiny and the hand was turned in an odd way. I also think that the thigh farthest from the viewer should be a tiny bit curvier, since she is female. And thats it!

I feel weird red-lining your stuff, you are a much better artist than me!
